Eph 1:15-17
• Wisdom is application of the knowledge that you have understood.
• Our biggest challenge is understanding and applying what we have understood.
• The problem is not hearing but what you see concerning what you hear, once you have heard.
• To understand something is not to read something.
• The pathway to understanding begins with asking questions (Acts 8:34).
• Understanding is not forced on people, you must seek to understand.
• Your seeking to understand becomes like a prayer and God will answer that prayer by giving you understanding.
• Understanding will put you at a different level in life, just like understanding separates pupils in a class who sat for an exam.
• Don’t count how many years you have been saved or how many years you have been listening to someone, the question is, “have you been understanding?”
Rom 10:17
• Don’t try to fool yourself, if you don’t have, you don’t have; and if you don’t know, you don’t know.

• Divine alignment is bringing one’s actions, thoughts and purpose into direct harmony with God’s will and timing.
2 Chr 20;17
• After prayer and fasting,you need to align yourself.
• There is a position to take that allows God to do what He intends to do towards us.
Ex 14:13-29, 2 Kings 8:1-6, Joel 2:12-27, Ezek 37:1-8, 1 Sam 30:8
• Restoration only takes place when there is divine alignment.
• The miracle or breakthrough is not behind your prayer, it is in you lining up with what God says in response to your prayers.

• Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude to God for the things He has done, the things he is doing and the things He shall do.
• Those who thank God for the past acts never lack the next.

• Thanksgiving is God’s wisdom for continuous change of levels.
Pr 4:18, Heb 10:36
• Thanksgiving is what you need to have in our waiting season.

• You can never have a thankful person that is depressed.
• When someone is depressed, thanksgiving is missing from them.
• Thanksgiving is the gateway to high places (Hab 3:17-19).
• The situation you’re facing is not the issue, what are you doing in that situation?

• Faith works by love and it is a master key for destiny fulfilment.
3. Force of prayer Ps 66:18-19
• How a much a man gets from prayer is determined by love.
• Love makes forgiving possible.
4. Kingdom prosperity answers to love (1 Kings 3:3, Gen 22:1)

• If it is for God, let it be honourable.
• Whatever you do for God should represent honour, whether it is giving or a service you’re rendering to Him.
• Ask yourself if you will do that thing you’re doing for God in the same way you would do it if you were doing it for a human. If your answer is yes, there is no honour for God in what you’re doing.
• Whatever you do for God must be higher than what you do for any man, even for yourself.
• If God does not help us by flooding us with love for Him, so many things will scatter when breakthroughs arrive.
• In the absence of love, all we think about is ourselves.
• If we don’t have love for God, there isn’t much we can do for Him in this life.
• If you love God you will love Him with everything that concerns you.
• If you love God you will love His house (Neh 1:1-4).
• Love has power for dominion. Lovers of God walk in power cheaply.
• The attack of the last days is an attack of love because if love is gone, then people can backslide (Mat 24:12-13).
• When men are filled with the love for God, the circumstances around them don’t matter (Job 13:15, 14:14).
• Wisdom for living is accessible to lovers of God.

What is love for God?
1. Giving God one’s heart
2. Placing God above all else, including self

PRAYER POINT:

FATHER BY YOUR MERCY, SPEEDILY FLOOD ME AND FELLOW MOUNTAINITES WITH LOVE FOR GOD WITH PRACTICAL PROOFS.

• Fasting is when we stay away from our desires for a period of time in order to seek God.
2 Chr 7:13-14, Ps 80:14, 35:13, Is 58:4-8
• Proper fasting must include humility, turning to the Lord and turning away from those things which offend God.
• In times of prayer and fasting, it is important for people to spend time in the presence of God to pray and search scriptures to seek out God’s opinion concerning any matter.
• It is called prayer with fasting because what should be more is prayer.
• Spend 5/8 of your time praying and 3/8 studying the word.
Mat 17:1-6, 21, Is 40:31
• Certain things will never be removed from our path of destiny until we engage in prayers coupled with fasting.
• Any kind of fasting , whether in God’s kingdom or the kingdom of darkness opens up a person to higher spiritual possibilities.
• A lifestyle of prayer with fasting leads to a change of mentality due to the breaking forth of light. The mind of Christ becomes the natural way of thinking for people who regularly engage in this.
• Music is a transportation medium for spirits.
• To walk by faith is hard work: there is what you must walk away from and what you must walk towards.
• You have the right to tell the taxi driver who has picked you to change the music playing in the car.
• Only very few people will be offended by gospel music.
• Let’s not sanctify ourselves only, we must sanctify our dwelling places.
Deut 23:12-14, 2 Kings 3:15
• There will be peace in your home when you invite God to dwell there.
• You are the one who pays bills , don’t allow your children to control you.
• Atmosphere matters a lot. What atmosphere are you creating?
• One of the things prayer with fasting does is that it creates an atmosphere for God?
• We use music to invite spirits. Which spirits are you inviting?
• The biggest thing that happens in a fast is that heavens open, you get God’s attention (1 Kings 21:29, Acts 10:4, Is 58:4, Mat 6:18)
• If God is not your priority, you are not His priority.

• Teachability is the willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn.
• As far as God is concerned, calling you to walk with Him is not an issue.
• The only thing he asks is are you available? Available for what? Reprogramming.
• If someone is teachable, even if they are backward in one area, they can be advanced.
• Run away from anyone who is not teachable.
• When a person has an unteachable spirit, it means they will remain with the programming they for from their environment.
Gen 12:1-3, 2 Cor 6:17
• Anyone can change as long as they are willing to receive new information.
• When looking for a lifetime, don’t just look at the outward beauty, seek to know how that person thinks because a person will behave according to how they think.
Gen 6:5
• If God wants to see tomorrow, He will go into the thought life of a person.
• Don’t marry a title, a title is not the character of a person.
• When you hear that a person is a pastor, don’t believe everything about them until you have studied them because a title is not character.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A TEACHABLE PERSON
1. Humility
• When a person seems to know everything, he/she is a danger. Such people don’t achieve much but are only good are talking.
• A teachable person acknowledges their limitations and seeks wisdom from others. They know that pride can hinder their growth.

2. Openness to correction
• When people have differences and sit down to resolve their differences, there must be courses of action to be taken to correct what caused the problem.
• We must be willing to learn.
• Divine direction isn’t only God telling us where to go, many times we miss the way and need God to correct us.
• Someone with an unteachable spirit develops resentment towards someone that corrects them.

3. Active listening
• A person who actively listens understands more.

4. Curiosity

5. Willingness to change
6. Seeking wise counsel
• They ask for advice genuinely because they want to know (they are hungry for wisdom).
• They are willing to learn from anybody.

Put systems in place to handle the blessings of God

Job 1:1, 29:1-12
• With all your expectations of how God should visit you, do you have systems in place for how you are going to use the resources He puts in your hand?
• Companies don’t pay taxes out of their capital.
• Companies don’t pay Corporate social Responsibility (CSR) out of their capital, they do it from their profits.
• When a company is not making profits it will lag behind in CSR.
• Job must have had systems in place where a portion of his wealth was meant for helping the needy.
• If God gave you an idea but you have no funds in reserve, even if it something you could have implemented, you will not do it.
• Putting systems in place for handling finances will show God that you are ready for the increase / breakthrough.
• A breakthrough will be wasted if there are no systems in place.
Gen 41:48-49
• When you put systems in place, you will see the hand of God more than you have seen in your life.

THE POWER OF THE PRAYER ALTAR

1. It is an altar of divine empowerment.
• Whatever God authorizes, the devil will attack. Psa 63:1-3, Luk 11:13
• The Holy Ghost will guide you and when he guides you, you will have dominion.
• Acts 1:8
• Once you are empowered by the spirit, He will give you access by your inheritance.
2. It is an altar of vision and revelations. Jere 33:3, 29:11-13
• God has thoughts towards us and when we pray, we come into the thoughts of God.
3. It is an altar of divine encounters. Luk 9:28-35
• When someone has an encounter, all the struggles they used to have are no longer there.
• Jere 29:13
4. It is an altar of deliverance. James 5:13, Psa 34:19.
5. It is an altar of testimonies.
• When you engage the prayer altar, you will surely have testimonies.
• Mark 10:28-29, 1 Sam 1:13-19, Phili 1:19
6. It is an altar of divine interventions. Mat 7:7-8, Jam 4:1-2
• When you pray, God intervenes.
7. It is an altar of restorations. 1 sam 30:8, Joel 2:25, Isa 42:22
8. It is an altar of turnarounds. Gen 32:24-28, 1 Chron 4:9-10.
9. It is an altar of vengeance. Luk 18:1-8, Psa 94:1, 68:1-2, Isa 63:4

10. It is an altar of peace. Phili 4:6-7
11. It is an altar of fulfilment of prophecies. 1 tim 1:18
• Use a prophecy in prayer for it to be fulfilled. 1 cor 16:9
• Whatever God promises us, requires engagement in prayer to see fulfilment.
12. It is an altar of favour. Heb 4:16
• Favour is a grace from God. Neh 1:11, 2:3-8
• Mercy and favour are two sides of the same coin. Gen 39:21, Est 4:16
• The first thing that people that are praying and fasting attract is the favour of God.

• This is a brand new year and God has spoken some things.
• God doesn’t only speak, He has given us things we need to do in order to have the most of what He has promised.
• Every time God promises something to men, the devil also steps in with his intentions towards them
• One of the most effective tools God has given us is the altar of prayer.
• Prayer is the means that God has given us to download every possibility that God has given us.

What is in the prayer altar?
1. It is the altar of divine empowerment (Ps 63:1-3, Mat 17:21)
• The power we all need to fulfill destiny comes from the altar of prayer.
• Power makes a lot of things work.
• Power is an essential thing in the life of the believer.
• A lot of possibilities are awakened by reason of power.
• In the absence of power, destiny is at risk.
• Those who seek God early secure the year ahead of time.
• Just like how absence of power can wreck an economy, so also can the life of the believer be wrecked in the absence of power.
• How can a believer become comfortable to live life without power from God?
• Power is the common denominator for many things that we enjoy in the kingdom. Even though they might come individually, power is responsible for their release.
• The prayer altar is powerful but it is made more powerful when the booster of fasting is added.
• That you are a pastor doesn’t mean that when you pray for the sick, they will be healed.
• A pastor who doesn’t pray is dangerous, he becomes an agent of the enemy.
• A prophet who does not pray is a dangerous man.
• Jesus needed to pray to be empowered, we too need to pray.
• Wickedness is real and is getting worse by the day.
• Business men should fast the way pastors do.
• Prayer is a way of aligning ourselves with God’s agenda.

1 Cor 12:4-7, Gen 1:1-3
• The Holy Spirit is a multi-dimensional spirit whose mission is to make living profitable for believers.

What is to revive?
– To give new life or energy to something.
– To cause to gain consciousness.
– To restore from inactivity or unused state.
– To give life again

What is a revival according to the scriptures?
1. The move of God that releases the sprit of prayer and supplication upon God’s people that results in the massive salvation of souls and church growth (Zec 12:10, 8:20-23, Is 66:7-8).

• There are certain manifestations that happen in a church that is revived that can never happen in a church that is not revived (inactive).
• Whatsoever kills a man’s prayer life has killed that man’s destiny.
• It takes prayer to make your preaching effective.
• Even the unsaved need to pray first in order to save.
• Any revival that you have ever heard of started with prayer.
• Wherever there is a revival, the standard of life for the believers changes; they begin to handle things they never handled before.
• The reason why Nigerian gospel artistes are more anointed than those from other places is because they come from a land in which there is an ongoing revival.
• You need something to make you shine when you stand before people.
• If you’re not full of the Holy Spirit, you’ll be full of wine.
• The reason why healings are not popular in the church in Zambia is because most churches are not in a revival.
• Money is dangerous in the hands of someone who doesn’t know God.
• A land benefits when there is a revival.
• When a revival happens, people’s hearts gravitate towards God. They cannot sit at home, they want to be in church.
• In the absence of revival, the crowds seen gathering in stadiums for football matches will not be seen gathering in churches.

2. The manifestation of divine visitations ordained to wipe away shame and reproach in the lives of God’s people (Joel 2:12-13, 17, 23-27, Zeph 3:15-17, Luke 19:41-44)

PRAYER POINT:

FATHER, BY YOUR MERCY, URGENTLY STEER THIS CHURCH AND THE HEARTS OF MOUNTAINITES WITH UNDYING PASSION FOR REVIVAL IN THIS CHURCH AND NATION, WHILE EMPWERING US TO PAY THE PRICE FOR THE OUTPOURING AND MOVE OF THE SPIRIT.
