Rom 1:18-21
• One of the outstanding traits of a deeply spiritual person is gratitude.
• The more you know God, the more thankful you will be.
• God expects man to glorify Him and be thankful.
• Even when people go to hell, it is because of the sin of ingratitude.
• The fact that you were cut off from God completely but God sent his son who was qualified to pay the price to connect you back to God is reason enough for you to be thankful.
• Genuine thanksgiving is based on knowledge.
• When you lack knowledge, your thanksgiving will be limited.
2 Cor 5:21, Rev 5:4-5
• It required a sinless man to die in order for those who were in sin to be rescued.
• The knowledge that helps you see Jesus as different from the rest will help you to treat Him and what He has done for you with value.
• Wisdom is what helps us to differentiate things and people.
• Wisdom makes a man to differentiate things and place the appropriate value on them.
• Jesus isn’t common, what He did isn’t common.
• God expects gratitude from you as a beneficiary of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.
• When you feel too much pressure from all directions, that is not the time to think of quitting.
• Anyone in this life who will choose to do what is right will face opposition.
• The spirit of heaviness is what attracts satan and the spirit of joy does the opposite (Is 61:1-3).
• If you keep complaining, you will never see good.
• People are leaving their countries to come to Zambia while you’re complaining that there is nothing good in Zambia.
• Give God thanks that you are healthy.
• Give God thanks that you are able to provide for your children.
• Whatever you are thanking God for is extended.

WAYS IN WHICH WE EXPRESS OUR THANKSGIVING TO GOD
1. By saying it with your mouth (Heb 13:15)
2. By testifying to others of what God has done for you (Luke 17:17-19)
• Everyone who has received God’s goodness must testify.
• Returning to where you received a miracle from is giving glory to God.
• Where your thanksgiving stops is where your miracle stops.

3. By our gift (Luke 17:14)
• This is also called a testimony of thanksgiving offering.

4. By clapping our hands (Ps 47:1)
5. By dancing (Ps 149:3)
• A dance to God can give you favour.

Rom 8:13
• You can use your natural way of reasoning to try to figure out God and His ways but you’ll be lost.
• What the scripture says and the natural way of thinking don’t go hand in hand.
• There are so many christians who are carnally-minded.
• They speak in tongues but their minds are not renewed in certain areas.
• To walk with God requires the renewing of our minds.
• Every single day, our default inclination for doing things is natural.
Rom 15:4, Jer 6:16, Ob 1:17, 19-21, Acts 26:18, 20:32
• Without sanctification, holiness, no believer can enter their inheritance.
• You don’t work for an inheritance, you align yourself with the conditions set for you to get it.
• No inheritance without sanctification.
• An inheritance is for the sanctified, don’t joke with sanctification.
Mat 3:17, Rom 1:4, Ps 45:7, Mat 6:33, Rom 8:13, Mat 24:12
• Power is for the sanctified.
• If we can’t stop sin, sin will stop us from accessing our inheritance.
• You need the power of the spirit to avoid sin.
• As long as satan can cause you to easily sin, your access to your inheritance is blocked.
• Access to revelation is blocked as a result of sin.
• If satan can cause you to easily sin, he has found a loophole that he will be using to always block you.
2 Tim 2:19
• The foundation of God (holiness) will never change despite the generation we live in.
• Every time satan wants to have access to a believer, he will cause them to compromise (John 14:30).
• When a believer compromises, he has something that belongs to satan.
• We do not have true power as long as sanctification is not in place.
• When satan can find nothing that he is looking for in you, you truly have power.
• How powerful is satan for him to only be stopping your breakthroughs?
• satan is able to stop you because you have licensed him.

PRAYER POINT:
FATHER BY YOUR MERCY, BAPTISE ME AND FELLOW MOUNTAINITES AFRESH WITH THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS THAT WILL SET US UP TO POSSESS OUR POSSESSIONS.

Acts 10:38
• The anointing symbolises Christ.
• While the anointing symbolises Christ, the essence (what is found in) of the anointing is the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
• The anointing is God on flesh doing things that flesh cannot do (God doing things through people).
2 Cor 4:7
• The anointing is God’s empowering presence upon a believer for ministry, kingdom service
• The anointing comes to give us advantage in life and destiny.
• You cannot claim to be anointed when your results are ordinary.

KEY ASPECTS OF THE ANOINTING
1. The anointing consecrates (Isa 45)
• When a person is anointed, he is set apart to do a particular task.
• An anointed person is not common.
• Some are anointed to minister through their songs, if such a person decides to become a bishop, they will have moved out of the area they are anointed for.
• A person can be anointed and their place of assignment is the football pitch.
• Every believer needs to know the area they are receiving the anointing for.

2. Empowerment (Acts 10:38)
• This is giving power to somebody to perform certain tasks beyond human ability.
• Empowerment is a broad term.
• You can be empowered to heal the sick, give counsel, or even empowered with wisdom.
• The purpose of the anointing is to destroy the works of the devil and to do good.
• The anointing is God’s tool for the destruction of the devil’s works.

3. The anointing is for inauguration (1 Sam 10:1, Ps 89:20, 22, Is 42:1, 61:1, 10:27)
• You need an anointing to be enthroned.
• You need an anointing to start a new task.
• You need an anointing to enter a new realm.
• Preservation is in the anointing.

What happens when you are anointed?
1 Sam 16:13, 17:36, 43-46
• When you’re anointed, satan will seek your death.
• Saul wanted to kill David because of the anointing.
• The anointing makes you bold.
• The truly anointed know that they are anointed and they boldly say so (Luke 4:17-19).
• It is not pride to say you are anointed, it is spirituality.
• Be conscious of the anointing.

Things that destroy fruitfulness
1. Broken kingdom service
2. No love for God
3. Sin (Ps 45:6-7, Mat 6:33)

• You have no protection, defence or backup outside God’s will (Prov 3:5-6)
• Seek to know the will of God at all times.
• If you’re panicking, it’s most likely God is not there.
John 5:30
• The anointing brings restoration.

• Favour doesn’t just happen, it has what it requires to provoke it.
Ps 45:6-12, 35:27
• Favour can be intreated.
• There is what to do to make favour land.

WHAT ARE THE MAJOR PROVOKERS OF DIVINE FAVOUR?
1. Obedience (faith) to God’s word (Exo 14:15, Ps 114:7, 126:4, Luke 1:45, Heb 11:7)
• Obedience is the key to top realms.
• Obedience is the key to supernatural manifestations (john 14:21)
• Obedience is the most effective facilitator of the fulfillment of prophecy.
• No one is entitled to the next instruction until they have obeyed the previous one.
• Instructions are not for debate.
• Don’t have explanations for your disobedience.
• Favour will not happen while you’re waiting, it will come while you’re doing as commanded.
• You will never know what will happen if you obey until you obey.
• Every problem has an instruction that can solve it.
• Don’t allow people to discourage you over an instruction that God has given you.
• Broken service doesn’t help anyone, it is consistent tireless service done in the correct manner that promotes people.
• No prayer is substitute for obedience.
• Obedience is stronger than prayer with fasting.
• Obedience is stronger than sacrifice, it is sacrifice done in obedience that will benefit you.
• Obedience brought Jesus into higher realms (Phili 2:5, Mark 14:36)

How does obedience trigger favour?

• The truth does not bring conviction, it is repetition of the truth.

• Obedience is stronger than anointing.
• Don’ think that anointing will erase the need for obedience.
1 Sam 15:22
• Satan has deceived many christians to think they can disobey his instructions and still have their way.
• The most acceptable sacrifice is one that you offer to God in obedience to what He has told you.
John 2:5
• What you may be told may not be logical, it may not make sense and it may be painful.
Heb 6:7-8, 2 Cor 10:6
• If you’re not obedient, it doesn’t matter if you do a 100 days of prayer with fasting.
• Even after your 100 days of prayer with fasting, the instruction from God you have not yet obeyed will still be pending.
• We are trying to pray over things that others obeyed into manifestation.
• Your solution was in an instruction that God gave you to fast for 7 days but your stomach was telling you otherwise.
• You cannot punish what the devil is doing when your obedience is not in place.
• Disobedience empowers the devil while your obedience cuts him off (James 4:7).
• Sometimes the wisdom that can resist your enemy is an instruction.
Job 33:23, 22:21-22, Gen 26:2
• Prayer opens us up to visions and revelations. In visions and revelations, there are instructions.
• We need the empowerment of the Spirit because carrying out instructions from God is not easy.
• When God gives you instructions, it means He loves you.
• As you are praying over something, listen for instructions.

• We obey ourselves onto the throne.
• In many cases, God is speaking to you through the voice of your parents.
• Many old people we pity today are reaping the fruits of disobedience to God and their parents.
• Many have stayed long at certain junctions of their lives because of an instruction they have not carried out.
• Pray for God’s mercy for Him to show you any instruction that you have not carried out.

1. God will go with you (you will carry His presence)
2. God will work for you

CHARACTERISTICS OF A GOOD SOLDIER OF JESUS
1. He is a follower
• It implies:
a. Relationship (Mat 8:9, Jhn 3:3)
• There is a relationship between this soldier and the one under whose command he is.
• There is no independent soldier in the army.

b. Rank (Mat 6:24, Joel 2:1-11, Jms 4:17
• There is always someone higher than you in the military.
• You are under obligation to obey rules from your seniors.

2. A soldier is loyal
• This is reflected in:
a. Patience (2 Tim 2:3)
b. His priorities (1 Cor 10:31)
c. His practice (Phili 1:27, 1 Thes 2:11-12)

3. A soldier is familiar
a. He is familiar with the sound of HIS commander’s voice
b. He is familiar with the skill of using his own weapons (Eph 6:10-18)
c. He is familiar with the strategy of his enemy (Eph 6:10, 1 Cor 11:14, 1 Pet 5:8)
d. He is familiar with his circle of friends
