POSITIONING FOR NEW THINGS

⭕️There is no present you can prepare for God that will be acceptable except the present He inspired you to give.

⭕️There is no worship you can prepare for God that will be acceptable except the worship He has helped you to give.

⭕️This is because the standards of God are higher, God is not human.

⭕️Only when God has introduced mercy is He going to meet man.

⭕️Mercy qualifies the unqualified.

⭕️Mercy overrides judgment that may be on a man.

Isaiah 66:1-2, James 2:19, Hebrews 11:7

⭕️Trembling at God’s word is acting in the direction of what God has said, having reverence and assurance that He will do it.

Isaiah 43:16-19

⭕️When God says, “I will bless you,” He has already done it.

POSITIONING FOR NEW THINGS

⭕️What is new?

a) Something original, and of a kind not yet seen before.

b) Having no previous example, precedent or parallel.

⭕️What is new to me might not be new to you – it is subjective.

⭕️If your account receives 1 million Kwacha, it may be new to you but there are many people who have already received that amount.

⭕️Have the mentality that new things are happening to you as an individual.

⭕️Former things are things that have happened before (past events).

⭕️In the absence of a new mind, it is impossible to have a new thing.

⭕️To stay ahead will require your head.

HOW TO PREPARE AND STEP INTO NEW THINGS

Revelation 21:5

⭕️It is God that is doing new things and He is doing them for us.

⭕️The new things are not what we think for ourselves but what God is thinking for us.

⭕️If you are going to think about new things, think under inspiration from God.

1.Perceive the heart of God (Isaiah 43:19,43:6, 48:6, Matthew 21:2-3, 6-7, Matthew 17:27, John 2:8, Matthew 14:17-20)

⭕️God wants you to know what He is doing.

⭕️It will not be so plain; you have to perceive it.

⭕️To be aware of something does not necessarily mean that you have seen the thing.

⭕️You are aware of your brain even though you have not seen it.

⭕️There are certain things that will create awareness of what God is doing.

Examples of perception from the bible:

⭕️The presence of angels created an awareness of God’s presence in the area for Jacob. (Genesis 32:1)

⭕️Jacob also perceived God’s presence through a dream he had. (Genesis 28:16-17)

⭕️The woman of Shunem perceived that Elisha was a man of God (2 Kings 4:9-10).

⭕️David perceived that God had lifted him when a king from afar off was willing to cooperate with him (2 Samuel 5:12).

⭕️The woman with the issue of blood perceived that she could receive her healing by reason of the things she heard about Jesus (Mark 5:27).

⭕️Elijah perceived that rain had come when a little cloud started to rise from the sea (1 Kings 18:44).

⭕️The Israelites observed that they were winning when Moses’ hands were raised (Exodus 17:12).

⭕️When certain things happen in your life, God expects you to perceive.

⭕️God doesn’t always speak.

⭕️When battles become more intense than before, you can perceive that God is doing something.

⭕️When you are about to step into financial glory you will be reduced to financial deprivation.

⭕️Information and revelation are not the same.

⭕️Catch a revelation.

⭕️God’s words are creative; they create the reality of what they talk about.

⭕️Your account has nothing but God can come through it.

2.Change your focus

  1. i) Stop looking at the former things (Jeremiah 29:11-14, James 1:8, Genesis 6:5-7, Matthew 4:17, Philippians 3:13, Joshua 1:5, 7, Joshua 5:13, Numbers 14:24, Joshua 14:12)

⭕️Former things are not necessarily bad.

⭕️For God to do you good, He has to think good towards you.

⭕️God also thinks about bad things, He wouldn’t punish evil and bring vengeance if He wasn’t thinking bad towards your enemies.

⭕️God cannot think of doing bad and good at the same time.

⭕️Focus all your energy into thinking what you want to see.

⭕️The things we see and hear are smaller than what we think.

⭕️The things we think help us to interpret what we see and hear.

⭕️There is power that is generated when a man chooses to look at one subject and concentrate on it.

⭕️You can be in poverty but when God looks at you, He can see that you are prosperous because you have acquired the mindset of prosperity.

⭕️Tomorrow is as a result of what is in the mind today.

⭕️Imagination is the factory for tomorrow.

⭕️You will not master anything until there is focus.

⭕️Whether it is success or failure, don’t look at the former things.

⭕️Yesterday’s success will make you complacent to chase for new things if you look at it.

⭕️Yesterday’s failures will affect you in your pursuit of new things, if you look at them.

⭕️You can use past successes to give you energy to focus on new things.

⭕️You are free when there is nothing hindering your dreaming of the future.

⭕️You can’t look at success and failure at the same time.

⭕️You can’t enter your promised land with a mindset of fear.

⭕️Let go of the past, how many times you tried doesn’t matter. God is doing new things.

⭕️You will struggle in your relationships if you do not have the ability to forget (the past).

⭕️If all you hear are negatives when you are among a certain group, God is telling you to move away.

⭕️When God calls people for great things, they seem to go through seasons of isolation.

⭕️It is for a reason; it is for reprogramming of the mind.
