⭕️If you don’t have God’s presence, satan will come and take away any other thing you are given.
⭕️If God is not with you, you will not have rest.
⭕️When God is with you, He will fight for you.

⭕️People don’t come to the point of God being with them just because they are children of God or they are prophets – it is encounters.
⭕️Don’t just pray for the sake of praying, pray to have an encounter.
⭕️It is an encounter that changes life and changes destinies.
⭕️Without encounter you cannot fulfill destiny.
⭕️Encounters can be provoked.
⭕️The chief provoker of encounter is desperate prayer.
⭕️You can have very good plans as a human being but your plans can be frustrated by satan.
⭕️No matter what is promised, it is not secured until you pray.
⭕️No matter what you are enjoying, it is not secured until you pray.
⭕️You need encounters along the journey.
⭕️Many of us have made blunders where opportunity looked like opportunity but God was not there.
⭕️It is results that separate you from the rest.
⭕️There is nothing more powerful than God being with you.
⭕️Lazy (prayerless) Christians have no future.
⭕️There is no technology that will ever replace prayer.
⭕️You have to ask God to show you His glory.
⭕️Glory is God showing you something that is His nature.
⭕️God’s goodness represents His glory.
⭕️Don’t have a friend whom you cannot rebuke – that’s not friendship.
⭕️Jesus prayed from the word go and the last thing He did was to pray.
Mark 15:34
⭕️Time doesn’t change anything; it is encounters that make the difference.
⭕️If the church continues to sleep, it won’t see the hand of God.
Luke 19:13
WHAT DOES EFFECTIVE PRAYER DO?
1.It provokes help from above [Hebrews 4:16, Psalm 127:1, Acts 26:22, Psalm 60:11-12, 56:9, Isaiah 41:10-13]
⭕️A man that is prayerless will be helpless.
⭕️The altar of prayer is what provokes help from above.
2.Prayer is a platform on which we ask for God’s mercy [Hebrews 4:16, 2 Samuel 24:14, Matthew 9:13, Lamentations 3:22]
⭕️Only mercy makes the things we don’t know to be put aside so that we can have our desires.
⭕️Prayer gives us the platform to cry out for mercy.
⭕️Mercy addresses the unknowns.
⭕️We need mercy because there are so many things we do not know.
3.It secures angelic intervention [Acts 12:5-8, Psalm 103:20, Matthew 26:52-53]
⭕️Angels are very intelligent.
4.Prayer brings about deliverance from afflictions [James 5:13, Exodus 3:7-8]
5.Prayer helps us to locate the path of life (divine direction) [Psalm 23:1, 5, 16:11, 2 Samuel 5:18-20]
6.Prayer enforces prophecies [2 Peter 1:19-21, 1 Timothy 1:18, Deuteronomy 2:24]
⭕️Any prophecy that came to you will remain nothing until it is enforced in prayer, with faith.
7.Prayer consecrates [Zechariah 3:1-4]
⭕️You cannot avoid sin without empowerment through prayer to destroy the power of sin.
Desperate:
- a) do or die (resolute)
- b) showing extreme urgency or intensity, especially because of great need or desire
⭕️Desperate faith of men is what provokes miracles.
⭕️Desperation is the key.
⭕️Those people who approach God as if there is a lot of time never receive things.
