MAINTAINING SPIRITUAL FERVENCY [PART 2]

⭕️To be spiritually fervent is to be spiritually boiling and bubbling because of heat (fire).

⭕️To maintain spiritual high temperature, we need to make spiritual investments.

⭕️The problem is not the devil somewhere holding on to something, the problem is you not believing your prophet.

⭕️Ensure you have a higher power at work all the time.

⭕️How to ensure a higher power is always at work is by maintaining spiritual fervency.

SOME TRUTHS ABOUT FERVENCY

1.GOD KNOWS YOUR STATE [Revelation 3:15-16]

2.YOUR FERVENCY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE [Galatians 5:7, Colossians 4:12-13]

⭕️It is up to you to maintain a certain frequency. It is not up to God.

3.IT IS YOUR DUTY TO WATCH OVER YOUR FERVENCY [1 Corinthians 4:13]

⭕️It is your duty to see that you are always hot.

4.YOUR FERVENCY IS AN INDICATION OF YOUR WELLBEING [Revelation 2:4-5]

⭕️When you are not hot, make yourself understand that you are sick and can be attacked anytime.

⭕️You can know the state of someone from the way they walk with God.

⭕️It doesn’t take long to backslide.

⭕️It is very easy to backslide.

⭕️A faithful husband who has neglected prayer will soon cheat on his wife.

⭕️Maintain your relationship with God.

⭕️Breakthroughs are delayed when satan knows that your spiritual pulse rate is very low.

⭕️There is an evil day for every man.

5.THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES OR REWARDS OF FERVENCY [1 Corinthians 9:27]

⭕️Depending on whether you’re hot or cold, there are either consequences or rewards.

⭕️You can lose your spiritual ranking.

WHY SHOULD WE BE SPIRITUALLY FERVENT?

1.IT IS COMMANDED [Romans 12:11]

2.YOU LIVE IN A VERY WICKED WORLD AND YOU NEED TO BE SPIRITUALLY HOT TO FULFILL YOUR DESTINY [1 John 5:19]

AREAS OF SPIRITUAL FERVENCY

1.The word of God [Psalm 1:2, 19:7, 4:4, 119:7, 10, 15, 18, 24, 25]

2.Prayer [Leviticus 6:12-13]

⭕️We have been redeemed as kings as priests, and one of the things we should maintain is an effective prayer altar.

3.Fellowship with God and others.

a) Avoid wrong company [Proverbs 27:17]

⭕️Whatever we fellowship with affects us.

⭕️Bad company corrupts your spirituality.

b) Keep good company [Proverbs 22:24-25]

⭕️Don’t make friendships with people that don’t enhance your spirituality.
