EMPOWERMENT FOR FLIGHT THROUGH PRAYER AND FASTING

1 Timothy 4:7-8

Prayer and fasting is one of those godly exercises.

Prayer and fasting will give us results for the life we are living now and guarantee a future tomorrow.

Wherever you see power that is changing lives and bringing solutions to people, there is a price that was paid.

Power is not free. There is a cost, and only those willing to pay the price will manifest it.

Fasting means abstinence from food and/or water and/or other pleasures for a certain period of time, in order for you to prioritize the building of your spirit man.

If you are not eating but you’re not praying, it is something else.

Fasting is only a booster to prayer.

The primary platform for empowerment is prayer.

When you pray effectively, you are empowering yourself spiritually.

Spiritual empowerment translates into victories in the physical realm.

Jesus, our master, prayed and fasted, we too must pray & fast.

Matthew 17:5, Mark 1:12, Luke 4:14

Life is a risk, without empowerment

There is a devil somewhere that is opposing children of God.

Jesus empowered Himself before starting His ministry and that is why He commanded results wherever He went.

Exodus 24:18, Philippians 3:10, 2 Corinthians 11:27, 6:5, Matthew 17:21

As we are fasting and praying it is important that we do it correctly.

Praying and fasting correctly is doing it according to the word of God.

God is also a judge, and as we approach Him, we need to give Him strong reasons why He should change your story.

You need to have a backup of the word of God as you pray and fast.

Study your bible and listen to messages as you pray and fast.

You don’t appear before the judge with emotions, you produce evidence.

You need to take scripture back to God.

1 Samuel 2:3, 1:11, 26-27, Isaiah 43:26

Humble yourself. No matter how long it takes, decide that you will camp with God until you see your desired results.

2 Timothy 1:12

Show that you believe by standing firm.

Understand that the kingdom of God is about power.

So, if you do not have power, you will not manifest the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 4:20Matthew 6:10, 16-18

God sees and notices when we are fasting.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE PRAY & FAST?

1)WE SPIRITUALLY INVOLVE GOD IN OUR BATTLES (we transfer our battles to God) [2 Chronicles 20:1-3, 5, 17, 22-24]

2) WE HAVE ACCESS TO CONTINUOUS GUIDANCE [Isaiah 58:11, 48:21, Ezra 8:21-23]

Divine guidance is one of the greatest assets one can have in the Kingdom.

There is no way God can lead you into failure.

God doesn’t know what it means to fail.

There is always a right way and the right way brings results.

The primary beneficiary of prayer is the one praying.

Your problems will remain and multiply if you do nothing about them.

If you are not empowered you will be afraid.

Wherever you see fear, power is lacking.

There is no room for fear for a man who is empowered.

Power, the love of God and a sound mind (a mind that is intoxicated with the word of God) are a three-cord cure for fear.

PROPHETIC DECREES:

AS WE EMBARK ON PRAYER AND FASTING, YOU TOO SHALL RETURN TO THAT PLACE WHERE YOU WERE ONCE DEFEATED, EMPOWERED.

YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR DESTINY.

I SAY, YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR DESTINY.
