UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF HUMILITY (Philippians 2:2-8)

Mark 5:21-29, Revelation 1:10, Mark 10:46-47, Philippians 2:2-8

⭕️A cry of mercy will grant you a testimony.

⭕️Humility is freedom from pride and arrogance (the absence of pride and arrogance).

⭕️Humility is a mindset.

⭕️Humility is a mental attitude.

⭕️Humility determines your altitude.

⭕️Humility is the character of a person, a distinctive nature of a person.

⭕️Humility is the visible nature of the invisible soul.

⭕️There is no vacuum in the soul of man.

⭕️You are either humble or proud.

⭕️If you are humble, pride cannot be found in there. If you’re proud, humility cannot be found in there.

What do we need to understand about humility?

1.Humility is invisible to the one possessing it, but visible to others.

⭕️You cannot tell yourself that you are humble, it is others that will tell you that you are humble.

⭕️The same way your eyes cannot see the back of your head, is the same way you cannot judge yourself to be humble until someone else tells you that you’re humble.

⭕️How you can tell that you are humble is by reason of the results around you, and how people talk about you.

2.It is your walk that leaves marks or prints behind.

3.It is more of your actions which determine your reaction

4.It is how you conduct yourself before others (how you relate and interact with others).

5.It is self-deceptive

⭕️There is a very thin line or barrier between pride and humility.

⭕️There is also a thin line between carnality and spirituality.

6.Most tests we face in life and destiny are the tests of humility.

7.Success is mothered by humility.

⭕️Humility is the womb for success.

⭕️Failure is mentored (mothered) by pride.

⭕️Pride is the womb for failure.

⭕️Humility is carried as an attribute of goodness in the bossom of the one possessing it.

⭕️Pride is a fire carried in the bosom of the one possessing it.

8.Humility is as sweet as honey.

9.Humility is as a coat of many colors.

10.Humility carries a godly nature; it hates sin and wickedness.

11.Humility is an atmosphere (environment) that is created around you.

⭕️It is an atmosphere that will bring favour and promotion around you.

⭕️When helpers are quickly locating you, it is because there is an atmosphere of humility around you.

12.Humility is a seed voice that speaks of you more than what you say.

⭕️Humility is the seed planted for a great harvest.

13.Humility determines your placement in life and destiny.

⭕️The gap between where you are today and where you will be tomorrow is humility.

⭕️Encounters are an act of humility.

The benefits of humility

1.It makes a man to be invincible (Romans 8:31-33, 35-37)

⭕️A humble man carries the nature of God and this makes him to be victorious.

2.It makes a man to possess the nature (character) of God to obtain God-kind of results (Philippians 2:9, Isaiah 57:15, 40:29-31)

⭕️Humility makes you to fly high above circumstances and dominate the enemies of life.

⭕️Humility is our confidence for strength in life and destiny.

⭕️It empowers a man to become bold over the enemies and bold over the challenges of life.

⭕️Prophets are vessels of humility.

⭕️If you receive a prophet in the character of a prophet you will receive rewards from God.

3. It makes you to be uncomfortable with rebellion (Psalm 45:4, 6-7)

⭕️It makes you to enjoy the secret things of God.

⭕️Humility will make you hate rebellion and wickedness, and God will anoint you with the oil of ⭕️gladness.

4.Humility is a lifter of men. (Proverbs 16:18, Psalm 147:6, 1 Samuel 2:30, Matthew 23:12)

⭕️Humility enthrones and pride dethrones.

⭕️Humility goes before a lifting.

5.It determines your ranking (status) in the spiritual realm for every dominion and command. (Philippians 2:7, 9, 11, Hebrews 5:4, 9-10, Deuteronomy 8:2-3)

⭕️Humility is a training ground to possess.

⭕️It is a training process for you to inherit your inheritance.

⭕️Humility makes you to be mature and spiritually sensitive.

⭕️You cannot avoid the school of humility because in there you obtain mastery which you carry with you in life.

⭕️Humility makes you to know your limits in any organization or wherever you find yourself.

⭕️Humility helps you to know where the authority of your superior ends and begins.

⭕️It is not everything that is permitted for you to do or say, humility helps you know your limits.

⭕️It makes you to behave wisely all the time.

⭕️It is a force that pushes you to behave in a good manner before your helpers.

⭕️Many have missed their helpers because of a bad attitude.

⭕️Humility is also the key which makes God to answer your prayers.

⭕️Once you know where your authority ends, you remain in command at that level.

⭕️We face challenges in life and destiny because we cross our limits.

⭕️Even Jesus had to humble Himself before God almighty.

6.Humility makes you to endure until you obtain your desired results. (2 Timothy 2:3)

⭕️Humility caused Jesus to endure the shameful death and today He is sitted at the right hand of the Father.

⭕️Men that are humble are men that are highly disciplined.

⭕️In the absence or presence of superior, a humble man will remain humble.

7. It is one of the principles to grain mastery over the affairs of life (Matthew 18:1-4)

⭕️Life is a battle of who is greater.

⭕️Don’t battle to be promoted but battle to be humble so that God can humble you.

⭕️In life, promotions are attracted to the humble.

⭕️Once you get to the place of promotion by humility,you will stay there.

⭕️Humility is a sustainer of promotion. It preserves your position.

8.By humility you are led to become a leader (John 10:11)

⭕️Good leaders are always humble.

⭕️If those that you lead cannot emulate your leadership then you have failed as a leader.

⭕️A humble leader gathers but a proud leader scatters.

⭕️Good sons are obedient to their father.

⭕️Obedience is not enough when it comes to humility, but prompt obedience is the key.

⭕️Delayed obedience is a sin.

9.Humility gives you access to high places and opportunities for your announcement

(1 Samuel 16:6-7)

10.By humility you access the wisdom of the wise for you to build your life (Matthew 7:24)

11. It helps you to bear your own cross (Luke 14:26-27)

⭕️A man of sacrifice is a man that is sold-out to God.

12.It procures favor.

⭕️Ruth and Esther are examples.

Tests of humility

1.The test of love for God and love for others

2.The fear of God.

3.Respect or reverence for God, elders and authority

4.Prompt obedience

5.Self justification

⭕️It is the act or an instance of making excuses to oneself.

6.Self gratification

⭕️This is the act of pleasing oneself or satisfying one’s desire.

God has told us to please Him.

7.You shall be tested in your generosity.

Men that are humble are givers.

8.How you react to rebukes and corrections.

9.Forgiveness (John 3:16)

10.Followership

⭕️This is how you follow those that have gone ahead of you (your superiors)

⭕️Never fall into the trap of eye-service because it is not right in the sight of God.

11.What you do after you have made a mistake before God and even before your (human) superiors.

(Psalm 51:11)

Prophetic Decrees

⭕️I PRAY FOR YOU TODAY, YOU SHALL NOT MISS YOUR VISITATION.

⭕️NO MATTER HOW THE ENEMY HAS BEEN FIGHTING YOU, TODAY IS YOUR DAY.

⭕️TODAY IS THE DAY OF YOUR HEALING, SALVATION, BREAKTHROUGHS.

⭕️YOU SHALL ENCOUNTER FAVOR. HELPERS SHALL LOCATE YOU.

⭕️YOU ARE MOVING FORWARD. IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO TESTIFY.

⭕️NO ENEMY SHALL STOP YOU.

⭕️YOU SHALL RECEIVE A RESTORATION PACKAGE IN THIS SERVICE.

⭕️YOU SHALL COMMAND THE RESULTS THAT GOD COMMANDS.

⭕️YOU SHALL DOMINATE THE NATIONS.

⭕️I SEE THE WOMB OF CAREERS BEING UNTIED IN TODAY’S SERVICE.

⭕️I SEE THE WOMB OF DESTINIES BEING UNTIED IN TODAY’S SERVICE.

⭕️YOU’VE BEEN STRUGGLING TO LIVE A GODLY LIFE, THAT ENEMY IS BEING DEFEATED.

⭕️AS YOU PARTAKE OF THIS HOLY COMMUNION, THAT WHICH HAS BEEN A CONCERN TO YOU IS OVER.

⭕️AS YOU PARTAKE OF THIS COMMUNION, YOU SHALL RECEIVE QUICK ANSWERS TO YOUR PRAYERS.

⭕️THAT CHALLENGE, I COMMAND IT TO DIE.

⭕️THAT AFFLICTION, I COMMAND IT TO DIE.

⭕️THAT STRANGER IN YOUR BODY, I DECLARE THAT STRANGER TO LEAVE YOUR BODY.

⭕️YOUR HEALTH IS PERFECTED.

⭕️YOUR LIFE IS PRESERVED.

⭕️I DECLARE POVERTY, FAILURE, LACK AND WANT COMING TO AN END IMMEDIATELY.
