THE POWER OF MEDITATION

Genesis 3:1-8

Satan was very crafty and deceitful.

Deceit is a MINDSET.

In the mind, there is HEARING and VISION.

When hearing and vision comes together, a THOUGHT is created.

Until you begin to create certain pictures, you are not ready to get there.

The AIM of the word of God is to help us desire what God has for us.

Every word of God we hear that does not bring us to understanding, we lose it.

HOW DO WE GET TO A POINT OF UNDERSTANDING THE WORD OF GOD?

This is where MEDITATION comes in.

WHAT IS MEDITATION?

1) MEDITATION IS TO THINK DEEPLY ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS SAID.

Whatever you see, becomes printed in your mind.

Your mind can only be captured by something interesting.

2) MEDITATION MEANS MUMBLING CONTINUALLY.

King David is the only man in scriptures that was so much into MEDITATION, he had a heart of meditation.

In life, we can all be looking/ facing the same challenges but our reactions are different.

Fear is not an external thing, it is inside you and it is a reaction to what you have seen.

Your current state of thinking is what helps you to interpret things.

Fear is an indication that you have neglected to do something inside you.

The interpretation of what you think has to do with what you hear and see

Your mind interprets what you see or hear.

Romans 12:2

Without the renewal of the mind, there is no transformation.

Feelings can be changed because they proceed from the focus of the heart.

When you change what you FOCUS on, you change how you feel.

The mind wonders how it wants but when you give it what to FOCUS on, it settles.

Happiness is a CHOICE.

️You can Choose to be happy while everybody is sad.

️Feelings can be changed

️Change what you are looking at.

️Give your mind a focus.

️Decide the focus.

️If you change your focus, you will change the way you feel.

️ Don’t under estimate the power of images.

️ Television is stronger than radio

It is impossible to walk in FAITH without imagining what God has said.

FAITH is incubation.

The future you cannot see (the image that God has created inside you), you cannot get there.

A man who has seen something cannot be broken.

Settling down to let the word of God sink in you is the way to go up.

️You need to see the pictures behind every word of God.

️ Real Faith creates images.

️Faith is a title deed

2 Timothy 2:15

We study to discover.

It is not FAITH, if it has not created an image.

It is impossible to have FAITH and not know.

when you confess wrong, you possess wrong and when you confess RIGHT you possess right.

️You have crossed the line of limitation, stagnation and delay.

️Long life is your portion

️In this month of the covenant, may God visit you with uncommon favor.

️I am redeemed for the top.

️This week is a week of strange favour for you & me.
