THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF GRATITUDE

Luke 17:12-13, 15-18

️There is supernatural power in gratitude.

️Thanksgiving is showing appreciation to God for what He has done and for what He is about to do.

️Unfortunately the brand of Christianity that was handed to us did not tell us about being thankful to God but only about how to harass God with our numerous prayer requests.

️Gratitude is a kingdom mystery that helps people to keep scaling new heights.

️God has daily benefits to give us but many of us are so obsessed with what we want to get from Him that we become ungrateful for what God has done.

Psalm 103:1-5

️Whatever God has done for you and me must be acknowledged.

️Taking God for granted over what He has done leaves you grounded.

️You will never meet a grateful person at the same spot you found him yesterday.

️Thankful people are changing levels all the time.

Psalm 92:1, 10-15

️People face dryness because they don’t have the oil of freshness.

️The oil of freshness is only on the grateful.

️If you cannot thank God for where you are, you are not permitted to leave that place.

️Most of the dryness we face isn’t because of devils, they are merely taking advantage of a door opened as a result of ingratitude.

️Many people come humbly before God when they want to receive something from Him, but once they receive breakthroughs they become clever.

️Being suicidal is a sign of pride. If you are thankful to God for something, thoughts of suicide can never cross your mind.

️Gratitude is security for the future.

️You will never find a grateful person that is depressed.

️You are not yet where you are supposed to be, but look around and see what God has done for you.

️You can gain the sympathy of men when you complain but that won’t help you.

️Be saturated with gratitude.

️Understand that every day that comes your way is a blessing, therefore, you have a reason to thank God.

️If you complain about having a bicycle while your mates have cars, you will never go beyond the level of owning a bicycle.

️ Most delays are linked to ingratitude.

️Those who thank God for what is little see God’s supernatural power of multiplication.

️Gratitude doesn’t just deliver multiplication; it also creates the capacity for you to carry the breakthrough.

️Thank God for where you are and for what you have if you want to see His miracle power of multiplication.

️Gratitude empowers you to call things that are not as though they were.

️Gratitude empowers you to experience the miraculous.

️Don’t cause your neighbor’s level to cause you to not be grateful to God.

️God knows your level and He expects you to thank Him for where you are.

️Every time you don’t show gratitude to God you are cursing your blessings and causing dryness to enter your life (Malachi 2:2).

️Even human beings want to favor those who show gratitude to them for things done.

️Thanksgiving is the seed you plant to access and remain in a certain realm.

️Thanksgiving will help you avoid depression and oppression.

️When we praise God we are entitled to execute judgment on our enemies.

️You’re not here today by accident, look back and see where God has brought you from.

️Don’t attribute to man what God has done.

️Thanksgiving leads you to divine liftings.

️Satan wants you to complain so that he can find a way to enter your life.

️When you give thanks to God the Holy Spirit moves.

️If you can think you can be thankful.

WHAT DOES THANKSGIVING GIVE US ACCESS TO?

1) The presence of God

2) Supernatural strength (Psalm 92:10)

3) Fresh oil (Psalm 92:10)

️You will never meet a thankful person in a dry season.

️When God talks to you about something, there is something you must do in order to facilitate the manifestation of what God spoke to you about.

️Captivity won’t turn just because God said He would turn it.

️If you are in a drought, ask yourself what caused that drought and deal with the cause of the drought.

️If God has spoken to you but you have not prepared your altar to worship Him, you might think He is a liar.

️Don’t try to connect to your spiritual fathers when you have not repaired the altar.

1 Samuel 13:5- 14

⭕️Some people are just existing instead of living, because the powers of the land have taken out the zeal for them to pursue their dreams.

⭕️Forces of containment keep you within a certain limit, making you to conform to the standards which they have set for society.

⭕️Look at what God has told you and not at what the circumstances are telling you.

⭕️It is at the stage where a person’s circumstances contradict the vision given to them by God that they can meet Satan who can discourage them.

⭕️As long as God is in the race with you, you have His help (grace).

⭕️The devils will be the first to fight the word of God over your life, by making you the very opposite of what God said you would be.

⭕️How many people get discouraged at the point where their breakthrough is about to happen?

⭕️A wrong voice will cause you to make a stupid decision.

⭕️Don’t expect everyone to believe in your vision, even Joseph’s brothers didn’t believe in his vision and conspired against him.

⭕️Many people kill their vision by compromise.

⭕️Stand out! Keep talking about your vision.

⭕️As a leader, your aim should not be to please the people but God.

⭕️Your reactions to circumstances will reveal to you how humble or proud you are.

⭕️Be careful with people who talk to you when you are in your waiting season, some could be messengers of the devil sent to sway you as you are waiting on the Lord.

⭕️When devils react to something you’re doing; it is a sign that you’re on the right path. So go full throttle with the action they’re trying to stop you from doing.

⭕️No foreign god has power to snatch you from the hands of the living God unless you empower it by an act of disobedience

⭕️No matter what is happening around your life, make sure God is still with you.

⭕️Any killing that happens in the physical realm already took place in the spiritual realm.

⭕️In the physical realm, Saul’s cause of death would have been reported as suicide, but in the spiritual realm, Saul died because God killed him.

⭕️You might have a medical report for an issue you’re facing, but do you have a spiritual report?

THE LOVE FOR GOD

⭕️All sins are as a result of either selfishness or fear.

⭕️The presence of fear is an indication that God is not there.

⭕️Love swallows fear and selfishness.

⭕️The Lord requires that you fear Him, walk in all His ways, and serve Him through love.

⭕️It is impossible for you to love others without first loving God.

⭕️The love of God helps a man to prioritize God above self.

⭕️It helps a man to first do things towards God, and to do things towards other people.

Galatians 5:6

⭕️Faith that delivers results has to work by the love for God.

⭕️Effective prayer is as a result of the love for God being in place.

⭕️Your faith will deliver according to the frequency of your love.

⭕️Your struggles in many areas are due to the lack of love for God.

⭕️The love of God helps you to obey Him and walk in His ways.

⭕️Love for God will help you to seek Him and reach out to those who are in need of the Lord Jesus.

⭕️Love for God will make you to love His word.

⭕️You’ve prayed for many things, what if you ask God to baptize you with love for Him?

⭕️Love for God will help you to forgive others because you know it can hinder your walk with Him.

⭕️Love for God will help you see value in people, you will realize that for God to have kept them alive He has big plans for them.

⭕️You either love God and hate Satan, or you love Satan and hate God.

⭕️It is the love for God that causes people to sacrifice themselves, their time and resources.

⭕️Your service for God is tied to revelation.

⭕️Those who do not have a revelation of God cannot serve Him in a certain way.

⭕️Your revelation of God will be the driving force for your service for God.

⭕️What God shows you sticks for the rest of your life.

⭕️Don’t miss-interpret the battles around your life to mean that God doesn’t love you.

⭕️Satan doesn’t fight you for your past but he fights you for your future.

⭕️The devil is chasing you because you have something, stay in the race.

⭕️To be divinely directed is to go where God is directing you.

HOW DO I ACCESS DIVINE DIRECTION AS A CHILD OF GOD?

1) Be spiritual [Romans 8:14, Revelation 1:10]

2) Be filled with the Spirit [John 10:27]

⭕️When you are filled with the Spirit, hearing God’s voice is natural.

⭕️When you are filled with the Spirit, your life will be under the influence of the Spirit of God.

3) Be meek [Psalm 25:9, Exodus 7:1, 8:1, 9:1, 10:1]

⭕️The Holy Spirit can be difficult to deal with if you are not humble.

⭕️If you dispute an instruction given to you by the Holy Spirit, you might not hear Him again until you say, you are sorry.

⭕️Those who are meek can be led and it also takes a meek person to inquire of the Lord.

⭕️If the devil can manage to take you to a wrong place, he can have you at any time.

⭕️You are only covered when you are heading in the direction of God.

Just like a bomb has a set time, good or bad things also have set times.

We will always go in the direction of our most dominant thoughts or voices.

If we hook up with God, He will always cancel negative appointments in our favor

DIVINE VISITATION

Divine visitation is the Biblical order in Zion.

God is committed to be present in the midst of His people (Hebrews 12:22-24).

The proof of His visitation: Salvation of Souls: When He is in the midst of people, He saves (Zephaniah 3:17).

So, wherever Jesus saves, it’s a proof of His visitation (John 6:44).

A visitation by God is called divine

The aim of divine visitation is to terminate man’s long standing embargoes

When God visits you, His influence and power becomes a reality around what you may be facing.

When God visits, His power and influence will be readily available to provide solutions.

Every divine visitation results into supernatural manifestations.

Luke 7:13

When God visited the widow of Nain, the dead son came back to life

I decree and declare that as God of this Commission is visiting you, there shall be reversals of every situation that had gone bad

When God visits, every weeping comes to an end.

You can Challenge God to visit you once He has said He has remembered you.

I don’t know how hopeless your situation is, I decree that there shall be a reversal as God visits you

When God visited Job, He experienced a turnaround encounter with complete reversal of surprises.

It is my prayer that opportunities like attending Church Services are not missed or wasted.

Churches are like hospitals despised when you are healthy, but you need them when you are challenged & challenges come at any time.

Whenever church doors are open, go there and receive something

I know what it means to be in ministry and end up in shame. I saw in those who were preaching to me.

Church is not a hobby, it is life!

Jesus came on Earth and all He did was to preach!

I don’t take preaching lightly, because it must affect destinies so I incubate on the word.

The word of God has power to keep you alive.

Church is in the business of rescuing people from the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God

No challenge gives you a physical appointment.

It is very important for a child of God to attend church service

If you can cleave to the word of God, it will keep you alive.

The word of God has power to keep you alive.

The seed you need to sow in order to experience change in your life is revealed knowledge

DIVINE GUIDANCE/DIRECTION

When God is the one guiding you to do certain things, then you are under divine guidance.

It is God’s responsibility to lead all His children.

We may have an idea about tomorrow but we don’t know everything.

God is exactly.

God knows about tomorrow.

You can only see today, humble yourself, let God lead you.

The leading of God is the only surest way to avoid frustrations.

Practicing what is in the word of God will make you a commander.

Ask God what you can do

When you are in your place of assignment, what bothers others, won’t bother you.

You must pass the wilderness test.

It doesn’t matter whether you are in the wilderness experience of your life, what is important is to be led by God.

If you want to have a successful life, let the Holy Spirit be involved with you.

If you don’t want to fizzle out, the master key is the Holy Spirit.

If you don’t want to burn out in life & destiny, the key is the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit is the master joy giver.

God is not forceful, all you need is to desire Him and He will begin to lead you.

WHEN GOD REMEMBERS YOU !!!!!!!!

Genesis 8:1, Mal 3: 14-17

God does not forget and cannot forget.

When we talk about God remembering, it doesn’t mean that He forgets.

 

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN WE SAY GOD REMEMBERS?

1. 1. He will influence situations in your favor and your prayers will be answered.
   2. Every promise made to you is fulfilled.
   3. You become His priority or focus.
   4. God has chosen to actively focus on your matter.
   5. It means His eyes are on you.

TWO CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE IN CHURCH:

(a) Those who do not fear God and complain.

(b) Those who fear Him and talk about what God has done in the past.

 

When you thank God for what He has done in the past, you apply for more, you provoke the opening of your own book of remembrance.

Things are recorded for remembrance.

It pleases God when you talk about what He has done for you in the past

As you talk about what God did, you are opening your own book of remembrance.

Those people who love complaining have no future

It pleases God when you can see what He has done

Isaiah 63:15-19, 64:1-3, Psalm 126:1-6

Celebrating God’s previous acts is the cheapest way to have the book of remembrance opened in your favor

Don’t make a request to the King about a new thing before you praise Him for what He has done in the past

 

SEVEN THINGS OR PEOPLE GOD REMEMBERS

1)  GOD REMEMBERS INDIVIDUALS WHO WALK WITH HIM (Genesis 8:1, 1 Samuel 1:19)

2)  GOD REMEMBERS A COMMUNITY OF HIS PEOPLE (Exodus 2:24, Psalm 105:42-43)

May God remember us as He remembered the children of Israel

3)  HE REMEMBERS THE AFFLICTED OF HIS PEOPLE (Genesis 30:22, Luke 23:42-43)

4)  GOD REMEMBERS HIS COVENANT (Exodus 6:5, Psalm 50:5, Job 29:15)

Remind God that as you are a partner of the Healing School, Transport etc., you should never lack divine help

If you love cursing, let cursing come to you.

If you love blessing, let blessings come to you.

If you love serving, let others serve you

Keep hearing God

5)  GOD REMEMBERS HIS MERCY (Psalm 98:3)

You are born again by the mercies of God

You can bank on God’s mercies to take you to a new level

May the mercy of God speak for you (Genesis 32:10, 1 Kings 3:6)

PRAISE MOVES GOD (Psalm 114:1-8)

⭕️To praise is to express adoration or approval.

⭕️We praise the Lord for His traits, His works, and His character. 

⭕️Our spirit becomes more pliable, open, and receptive to receiving to God’s Holy Spirit.

⭕️ ‘Prayer moves mountain, but praise moves God.’

⭕️When God is full of praise, He moves into action for to judge and revenge you of your enemies.

⭕️When you engage God through praise, you are appealing to a sensitive part of His nature.

⭕️God will move and when He moves, mountains flee on their own accord and hills skip like little lambs.

THE FOCUS OF OUR PRAISE:

• FOR THE HELP SO FAR RECEIVED FROM GOD (1Samuel 7:12; 1Chronicles 15:26)
  ⭕️Anytime you recognize and appreciate God for His help, it multiplies

  ⭕️Praise introduces around a person, the atmosphere of God’s Presence
  If you don’t like the climate around your life, increase your praise and worship level
• PRAISE OPENS YOU UP TO THE WILL AND MIND OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE (2 Kings 3:15; 1Thessalonians 5:18; Acts 13:2; Isaiah 30:29-30)
  ⭕️A worshipper is guaranteed more access to the will and mind of God than an ungrateful person
• PRAISE IS A SPIRITUAL LIFTER OF PEOPLE; PRAISE IS A SPIRITUAL LEVEL CHANGER (Habakkuk 3:18-19; 1Samuel 16:18)
  ⭕️If your level has not changed yet, just hold on to your praise
• PRAISE IS A SPIRITUAL OBSTACLE CRUSHER (Joshua 6:20-21; Psalm 114:1-8; Acts 16:25-26)
  ⭕️Obstacles are crushed and collapsed by the power of praise
• PRAISE IMPARTS THE CLIMATE OF ACCEPTANCE AND FAVOUR (1Samuel 16:21; Acts 2:47).

 

• PRAISE IS PATHWAY TO ROYALTY AND AUTHORITY IN THE KINGDOM (Genesis 49:8-10; 1Samuel 16:17-23)
  ⭕️The tribe of praise is the tribe of kings
• PRAISE ACTIVATES THE SUPPLY SYSTEM OF GOD (Psalm 67:5-7; John 6:11-13)
  ⭕️You confront scarcity and shortage with praise

 

 

PRAISE GIVES GOD PLEASURE (Psalm 149:3-4, Revelation 4:11)

⭕️I tell you, the pleasure a king gets from being eulogized is way more than the pleasure of food and drink.

⭕️Think of God as King of kings (that’s who He is) and then go praising and eulogizing Him; you know the rest of the story.

⭕️He is pleased with your worship and your praise.

⭕️When God is filled to the overflow with praises coming from you, your enemies are in trouble.

⭕️He will arise and your enemies will be scattered (Psalm 68:1)

 

PRAISE IS GOD’S UTMOST

⭕️UTMOST means most extreme; greatest.

⭕️Another reason why praise is so potent in spiritual warfare is because it is God’s utmost in life.

⭕️The reason for creation is such that the creation will give the creator pleasure.

⭕️Nothing compares to serving God.

⭕️Working for God is good, but giving Him praise is the best.

⭕️Praying is great, but praising God is superior and more blessed.

⭕️All other things that you do for God are good, but nothing compares to kneeling before Him in worship, interacting with His holiness, blessing Him for who He really is.

⭕️Work all you can for God, but give more of your time in personal intimacy with Him, loving, praising and worshipping Him all the more. 

⭕️You will see Him bring your desires upon your enemies.

EXAMPLES

• King Jehoshaphat of Judah when He was faced with four enemy nations (2 Chronicles 20:1-30)
• Paul and Silas in the New Testament employing the same strategy when they were locked up in jail in Philippi (Acts 16:25-34)

⭕️God came down by Himself, the enemies of God were routed out completely.

⭕️God came down by Himself, earthquake attended to Him and the doors to the jail flung open, the locks broken in their own accord.

⭕️That’s what praise can do and will do for you even today.

⭕️God has not changed and His way of doing battles has not also changed (Malachi 3:6)

⭕️When you do what people in Bible days did, you will get the same result they got (1 Corinthians. 10:11)
