• Where joy dries up, things are hard.
• We were called to praise.
• Adam was created to glorify God, not to live for himself.
• There is no such thing as living for yourself, if you’re not living fog God, you’re living for the devil.
1 Chr 23:30-31, Ps 103:1-4
• Forgetfulness is a major hindrance of thanksgiving.

Why praise God?
1. We were created to praise God (Is 43:21)
2. Praise pleases God (Ps 69:30-31)
3. Praising God is acknowledging Him (Mal 2:1-2, Ps 44:3)
4. For your lifting (Ps 113:1, 7-8, Hab 3:17-19)

1. God alone has power to open and close doors (Is 22:22)
• When God opens the door, no man can shut.
• Even satan can’t close the door God has opened for you, he can only create obstructions to prevent you from entering the door.

2. God is the one that opens doors of opportunities (Gen 41:39-41)
• Despite Pharaoh having a problem, if God had not created an opportunity for Joseph, Pharaoh would have never entertained a solution from a prisoner.

3. God opens doors of breakthrough (Acts 16:26)
4. God opens doors for kingdom advancement (1 Cor 16:9)

BARRIERS TO OPEN DOORS
1. Sin and disobedience (Is 59:1-2)
• Obedience is key to access while disobedience blocks access.
2. Unbelief and fear (Num 13:31-33)
• Many people can’t make decisions that will make them progress because they are fearful.
• Indecisiveness is a reflection of fear.
• To succeed, we must make tough decisions.
3. Satanic opposition (1 Cor 16:9)
4. Lack of spiritual sensitivity (Luke 19:41-44)
• Many people fail to discern when God is opening a door for them.

Exo 23:20, 22-23, Is 45:1-2, 60:4-5, 8, 11, Acts 12:7-10

• If everything is under you, then you are at rest
• The token of man’s relationship with Godin the garden was the presence of God with him.
• Simply put, Adam was the god of the earth.
Rom 3:21-23
• Glory also mean praises.
• Praise is the aspect of glory that God never placed in a man including Adam.
• Only God deserves the praises and the worship.
• Praise is something that God cannot share with any man.
• To rule in life is to be above the circumstances in life.
• You cannot exercise kingly power if your priesthood is not in place.
• The first reigning of Adam in the garden depended on the voice of God.

THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT PRIESTHOOD
1. Priesthood is tied to altars (Rom 12:1)
• Sacrifices or surrendering are things to be given on altars.
• A priest is a mediator for men before God.
• There must be an altar on earth for an interaction between man and a spirit in order for that spirit’s influence to be on this earth.
• The Garden of Eden was the first altar.

2. Keep the fire at the altar burning. Lev 6:12-13, Rev 5:8, 8:3.
• If the fire on earth stops there will be no connection to the altar in heaven.

Rev 4:1-2, 4-7, 10
• The power to reign comes from an effective priesthood.]
• Adam was the first high priest and his role was to spread the influence of God on the earth.
• You are not on God’s side because you’re a christian, you’re on God’s side because you’re doing what he wants.
• Altars are not always visible.
• Most of the priesthood activities are done in the background.
• Divine direction is how you destroy altars.
2 Chron 15:3

3. Understand the existence of both evil and godly priesthood.
• While you’re neglecting your priesthood, there is an evil priest doing their job.
• Many christians think there is nothing fighting against them.
• Not all churches are altars.

4. Purity is the foundation of Godly priesthood
(Zec 3:1, Job 1:6)

5. Understand the priesthood must be after God’s own love
• You should love God so much that you can do anything he wants.

• Spirituality is not for a selected few, it is for all those who want to walk with God.

• Moving from one side to the other can be referred to as a new dimension.
• Life always has two sides.
• You might be in a time of sickness and the other side you want is called health.
• Someone is benefiting from your current state / position.
• The day you asked Jesus to come into your life, a battle started. Many christians don’t realise this so they continue to live casually and end up being destroyed.
1 Sam 22:23
• Every enemy of God is your enemy and all your enemies are God’s enemies.
• If you are a mountainite, the enemy of Mountain of God Ministries is your enemy too.
• The enemy of your spiritual father is your enemy.
• The enemy of your friend is your enemy.
• Satan is not dull, he is an intelligent being.
• The power of every name is properly invoked by an altar.
Heb 4:16, 11:27, Acts 4:13, Exo 7:1
• Any spirit you interact with will put its name on you once the spirit is satisfied with your commitment.
• The person that interacts the most with an altar is a priest.
• A priest has a duty to feed the altar through his fellowship
1 pet 2:9, Rev 1:5-6, Lev 6:12-13
• In the new priesthood, there is no retiring, it is for life.
• Jesus is the High Priest and we too are priests.
• Every time there is weak priesthood, there will be weak kingship.
• Your kingship has to do with your daily reigning in life, and it is heavily dependent on how weak or strong your priesthood is..
• The problem of Zambia is the problem of the church.
• One of the major duties of a priest is to pray – not once, but everyday at scheduled times (Heb 4:16).
• If you fail in time of need, it is because your priesthood is weak.
• How much of God is seen in the community depends on the strength of the priesthood.
• When you see too much evil in a community, it means the evil priesthood is doing a good job.
• It is priests who give spirits permission to interact with the community.
• All the evil you see in your family is because of an evil priest who has partnered with evil spirits to allow their operation in the family.
• We don’t study the bible as kings but as priests. We make declarations of what we have studied in the word as kings.
• The most spiritual person you will find in any territory is a priest.
• The first sacrifice a priest offers is himself (Rom 12:1).
• You can’t break into new realms without the priesthood.
• If your priesthood is weak, your entire life is in danger.
• No one can perform priesthood on your behalf.
Job 22:21-28, Deut 20:1-4
• The priesthood makes the king to have his eyes open as he meets people.
• Many husbands don’t know that they are the chief priests of their homes.

– When you engage your faith, God’s part can be delivered.
– What happens on earth is not dictated on earth but in the spirit.
– Decisions of a city are made from the gate.
– Be careful with a lifting that brings you into complacency.
– A prayerful man is an alert man.
– To be prayerless is to be careless.
– The life of God requires prayer to activate it.
– Whatever blessing you are enjoying can only be sustained by a relationship with God.
– Submission to God is shown by your study of the word, prayer and fellowship.
Jam 4:7, Mat 8: 9
– A Christian moving without power is walking naked.
– Power is associated with your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
– When you become fireless you die as a victim.
Acts 1:8, 4:23, 29-33
– When you stop praying, another spirit will take over you and you will begin to produce strange fruits.
– You can know which spirits are powering you by the desires you are having.
– Christianity is a Spirit-dependent life.
– Our spiritual needs are the most critical needs we have.
– Most of our physical challenges happen because of certain spiritual disciplines we have neglected.
Ps 89:20-23
– The separation mark between rest and where you are is the anointing.
– The anointing is the seal of God’s ownership upon a person.
– The anointing invites the jealousy of God upon those who are anointed.
– Disgracing the anointing is like disgracing God.
Eph 1:13
– The anointing is a seal.
– The defence of sheep is the Shepard.
Psalm 78:70
– If you are not willing to be submissive as a lady don’t get married.
– Your husband or wife is not your competitor.
– It is your relationship that is winning when you are willing to listen
– How you take correction shows whether you are proud or not.
– When you resent correction , it shows you have pride.
– When your spouse is trying to correct you it doesn’t mean they are trying to defeat you.
– If we cannot be corrected by fellow men, even the Holy Spirit will have difficulties correcting us.

Rom 15:27, 1 Cor 9:11
• If people blessed you spiritually, you have a responsibility to bless them with material things.
Gen 49:1-3, Ex 13:2
• Firstborn / being first is the beginning of something, meaning something can be built on it.
• The first one to do something has opened the womb of that thing in a family, community, etc. because he/she is the first one to do that thing.
• The firstborn of crops is called the firstfruit.
• The firstborn of animals is called firstling.
• Whatever is of interest to God becomes of interest to satan.
• God said everything shall produce after its own kind.
• Something that is the beginning of a good thing will create a good pattern.
Ps 78:51

What does firstborn imply?
1. The beginning of human strength / vitality
2. Opener of womb or being the first person to do something
• This could be the first person to go to school, the first person to handle a certain amount of money, etc.

• The implication was that the firstborn becomes the heir of the family.
• The right of the firstborn was an inheritance and he occupied a special place in the family.
• If the father died, the firstborn would take up the responsibility of taking care of his mother until she died.
• He would take care of his sisters until they are released into marriage.
• He would also take care of his siblings until they reached age of maturity.
• If there is a blessing that follows a particular family, the chief of that family would invoke that blessing.
• You can lose the right of a firstborn, you can sell it, mismanage it or it can be stolen.
2 Kings 2:9, Deut 21:17
• The firstborn would receive a double portion of the inheritance.
• The firstborn was expected to show leadership in the family.
• Satan fights firstborns because he loves to fight what is good.
Ex 22:29
• It is a contest, if the firstborn is not given to God, satan automatically assumes the firstborn is his.
• Don’t have dreams / plans over the firstborn, consciously dedicate the firstborn to God and let God’s plan for their lives come to pass.
• When satan tries to fight the firstborn, remind God that you dedicated the first born to Him.
• In your business, remember what is your part and what is God’s part.
Gen 2:17, 4:4, 50:20
• When the firstborn is dedicated to God, God recognises that He has been brought into the picture.

Why Zion? [Part 2]
1. It is God’s dwelling place.
2. Zion is a place of salvation. (Zec 9:9, Psa 53:6)
3. God loves zion. (Psa 87:2, 129:2)
4. It is a place of strength. (Psa 84:7, 110:2, Isa 12:6)
5. It is a place of God’s word. (Psa 97:8, Isa 2:3, Isa 40:9)
• The word of the Lord gives us strength.

6. Place of his Glory. (Psa 102:16, Isa 4:3-4)
• The fire that purifies is found in zion.
7. It is a place of favour. (Psa 102:13)
8. It is a birth place of giants (in economics, life and destiny, etc). (Obad 1:21)
9. It is a place of turning of captivity. (Psa 126:1, Isa 62:1, Obad 1:17)
• Set time to appear before God, it is not a waste.
10. It is a place of victories over enemies. (Micah 4:13, Psa 110:2)
11. It is a source of protection of the children of God. (Isa 4:5, Psa 125:1)
• You are as strong as the altar that backs you because in life it is, “altar vs altar.”
• When you are backslidden, don’t expect to enjoy the same privileges you had before.
• The day you backslide, you will think all is well with you but the devil will remember all the damage you did to him in the past.

12. It is a place of the blessing. (Psa 128:5, 133:3)
13. It is a place of answers to prayers. (2 Chron 7:15, Isa 30:12, Psa 20:1-2, Isa 66:8)
14. It is a place of restoration. (Isa 61:15, 60:14, Jer 30:17, Joel 2:32)
15. it is a place of mercy.
16. It is a place of activation of covenants. (2 Chron 7:18, Gen 28:10-12)

• Behind civilizations are spirits.
• Behind innovations are spirits.
• Some of the things that we love so much, they look great, we do not know that those inventions, innovations were inspired by spirits.
Gen 18:17-18
Psa 112:1-2, Gen 32:9, 48:13
• When culture conflicts with scripture, choose scripture.
• It takes a spirit to cast out a spirit.
• It is in a place like zion where God commands blessings.
James 1:21
• The mere reading of the word of God brings cleansing.
• The word has power to bring in self control, generate things that may not be presently available around us.
• The word is alive.
• The word is the carrier of miracles, it is the carrier of miracle working power.
