Deut 32:10-12
• To instruct is not the same as to teach.
• Instructions show you what you should do in order to have a particular result.
Ps 32:8-9, Prov 1:2-3, 7-10, 4:1, 13
• To be able to walk in the way you have been instructed, you need to understand.
• When you don’t have the fear of God, you don’t really have real knowledge about life.
• Life begins when you start to fear God.
• There is a relationship between the fear of God and instructions.
• When God is instructing a man, he is giving that man life.
• Obeying the instructions that God gives you entitles you to the life that those instructions can bring about.
• Divine instructions are life.
Prov 5:1-3, 10-13, 23, 6:23, 9:9, 10:17
• In our journey of life, we must be ready to be corrected.
• God may use people, things, and even pain to correct us.
• Pain can correct somebody (Heb 5:8).
• Not all pain is evil, pain can be a motivator for change.
• It is instructions that bring prosperity (Prov 13:18).
• When God’s instructions are obeyed, it leads to the supernatural.
• When instructions are obeyed, failure is turned into success and shame is turned into glory.
• God can instruct us because He knows better than all of us.
John 2:1-11, Luke 5:1-7
• The answer out of any situation you’re in is an instruction from one who knows it all.

WAYS BY WHICH WE RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS FROM GOD
1. The word of God (2 Tim 3:16)
2. By the direct voice of God speaking to your spirit, telling you what to do
3. God can send a messenger (prophet, pastor, etc.) with a specific message
4. Through a preaching

1 Sam 15:19-22
• Every miracle requires a human participation for it to happen.

• The power of God becomes available in the direction of your consciousness.
• Wherever you are conscious of what God did , the power of God will be available in that area.
Mark 5:28-31, 1 Cor 11:21-31
• Every time you remember Jesus, remember what He died for.
• Jesus didn’t come to earth in order to live, He came in order to die and rise again.
• If Jesus was killed just after his birth, His blood would have never been able to heal anyone. He needed to run the course to prove that He was a worthy sacrifice.
• Whatever Jesus did here on earth was so that he could qualify for what He came to do.
• We were instructed to take communion often.
• There is a benefit that comes by you being conscious of Jesus’ death and demonstrating it by taking communion.
• As an individual, are you showing the Lord’s death?
• What is it that Jesus achieved through His death that we are showing through our lives that people can see and know that Jesus died and lives again?
• No one can be worthy outside of Jesus’ blood.
• As you partake of the communion, you should have the mentality that you want those things which Jesus died for to replace those things He didn’t die for that are present in your life.
Prov 13:18, John 2:5, Deut 32:10
• Instructions are what construct destinies in the kingdom of God.
• You are disorderly when you are out of instruction but orderly when you are in instruction.

Things to note concerning instructions
1. Instructions are not convenient to you
2. Instructions are not for analysis
3. An instruction places a demand on you and are non-negotiable (Ezek 4:4-5)

UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION (Phili 3:10)
Rom 5:16-17, Phili 3:10
• We must understand that Jesus died for a reason.
• When we know those reasons and appropriate them in our lives, things change.
Mat 27:50-53, 1 Cor 15:20-22
• The power of resurrection has ability to open doors nothing else can open and to open graves.
• It is not necessary to remain in bondage after Jesus has resurrected.
• The power of Jesus’ resurrection is ordained for supernatural restoration (1 Cor 15:21).
• The cost of Adam’s rebellion was paid in full, proven by Jesus rising from the dead. This means man can have dignity again.
• The power of Jesus’ resurrection makes man to be supernaturally restored to his redemptive dignity.

What benefits arise out of the power of Jesus’ resurrection?
1. Turning from captivity to liberty (Mat 27:50-53)
2. We moved from defeat to victory (1 Cor 15:55-57)
3. We moved from filthiness to holiness (1 Cor 15:42, 2 Cor 5:21)
4. He turned our shame to glory (1 Cor 15:43)
5. We moved from weakness to power
6. We moved From the natural realm to the supernatural realm (1 Cor 15:44, Rom 8:11)
• A born again christian must be conscious that he should operate in the supernatural realm because he is no longer natural.
• You should feel suffocated when you’re not operating in the spirit realm.
• You are meant to live a higher life.
• You are a spirit being that lives in a body.

7. We moved From failure to breakthrough (Mat 28:18-20)
8. We moved from sickness to health (Rom 8:11)
• Our duty is to know how to quicken our spirits by the Spirit that lives in us.

9. We moved from death to life (John 14:19, Heb 2:14-15, 1 John 4:18-19, 5:13, Acts 1:3, 2 Cor 8:9)
• A born-again christian is living; cannot die but only transition

What is in the Bright and Shining Light Agenda?

7. Strong defence (Isa 4:5)
• Bright light can be used as a defence, as protection.
• A fireless man is a defenceless man.
• Bright and Shining Light is a defence against the enemies of God.

8. Major transformations and transfigurations (Mark 9:3, Isa 60:19-20, Luke 9:29-30, Deut 34:7, Psa 27:1-14, 36:9)
• Transformation largely has to do with changing of the mind (mindset).
• A caterpillar becoming a butterfly is an example of transfiguration.
• The secret to victory is closeness with God.
• No devil can find you when you are walking in God’s path.

9. Growth of new things and fruitfulness (2 Sam 23:4)
• Light facilitates growth and fruitfulness.

10. A time of great outpouring of the Spirit / revival (Zec 10:1)

11. A Time of great favour and honour (Gen 27:27)
• When your honour increases, you can attract more.
• People give us respect based on the level of honour they place on us.
• The honour people have for us determines what they give to us.
• Honour is what makes people to obey or disobey us.

12. An era where supernatural speed becomes the norm
• No one can doubt that light is the chief facilitator of speed.

2 Sam 22:13, 15, 18-20, Psa 18:12, Luke 11:36, Ezek 1:4, 13, 27
• Behind brightness and shining is a fire.
• To be fireless is dangerous.
• That you are a child of God doesn’t mean you will have victory.
• One of the things to do to ensure victory is to keep increasing the intensity of your fire.
• Many christians are light-less because they are fireless
• To be fire-full is to be protected.
• To be fire-full is to enjoy favour.
• To be fire-full is to live in victory everyday.
• To be fire-full is to be full of wisdom.
• God knows why we need fire.
Mat 3:11, Jer 20:9, Isa 11:4, Rev 2:18, Acts 4:29-33
• There is no fire without the Holy Spirit.
• The word of God is material for fire.
• Whatever kills your desire for fellowship with the Spirit of God, the word of God is killing your fire.
• We will not manifest without fire.
• We use fire to deal with devils.
• When your fire is killed, those who promised you things will break their promises.
Mal 3:3, John 5:5
• You will never live holy without fire, you will keep struggling with sin.
• Without fire there is no sanctification because sin is powered by spirits.
• The location of your business is not the issue, it is how much fire you have.
• The desires of the flesh need fire to be put down.

2 Tim 2:18-22 ,2 Thes 2:3-4
• Behind sin are spiritual forces.
• Before the coming of Jesus, one of the things we will see commonly is backsliding ; falling away.
• The devil’s assignment is to oppose anything that has to do with God.
• The moment you decided to be a christian, he became your opposition.
• It is sin that stains your spiritual garment.
• When you are stained, you become unacceptable before God.
Gal 5:19-21
• The inheritance of the kingdom of God is administered by a spirit, that spirit is a Holy Spirit.
• If you are going to be a partaker of the inheritance that was left, it has to be in accordance with the will.

1. SIN IS DEMONIC (Rom 8:15)
• Sin is not psychological but demonic.
• Behind sin is a spirit and behind right living is a spirit, it depends on which spirit you have chosen to become a slave to.

2. SIN IS ADDICTIVE (Rom 8:15)
• Addiction will lead to bondage.

3. SIN IS PLEASURABLE, BUT ONLY FOR A MOMENT (Heb 11:23-25)
• Sin is pleasurable, but only for a season, later on it bites.
• If sin was not enjoyable , if it was bitter from the beginning, people would not be doing it.

4. SIN IS BLINDING (1 Sam 12:3)
• Sin has a blinding effect on the person that is in it.

5. SIN IS DECEPTIVE (1 John 3:7)

6. SIN IS FORCEFUL (Prov 7:21)
• Sin has the ability to push a person to do something.
• Sin pulls people towards it.
• You cannot overcome sin with human strength.
• Behind the pull of sin is a spirit and it takes the Spirit of God to dislodge it.

7. SIN IS SECRETIVE (Ps 129:23-24)

8. SIN IS CONTAGIOUS (Ps 1:1-3, 1 Cor 15:33)
• Association with someone who sins will cause you to begin to sin.
• One way to avoid sin is to avoid company that facilitates sin.
• Behind negative peer pressure is a spirit.

9. SIN IS ENTICING (James 1:13-14, Gen 3:6)
• Sin looks attractive and it pulls you towards you.

10. SIN IS DESTRUCTIVE (John 10:10)

Where does the strength of satan lie?
a. Deception (Rev 12:9)
• Deception is one of the hardest things to detect.
• Only the Holy Spirit who has full knowledge can help you to overcome deception.

b. Defilement

How does satan defile?
1. Through unclean spirits (Zec 3:3-5)
• Their job is to stain: to make dirty that which was clean.

2. Spirit of bondage (addiction) (Rom 8:15)
• When a person is addicted, he has entered into bondage.
• Once you are bound, you are in prison and can no longer free yourself. It will take the power of God to free you.

3. The spirit of disobedience (Eph 2:1-2)
• If there is a spirit of obedience, there must be an opposite spirit.
• You have to obey God in order to punish disobedience.

4. Lying spirit (1 Kings 22:22-23)

5. Spirit of whoredom (sexual immorality) (Hos 5:1-4)

6. Spirit of pride (Isa 14:12-16)

7. The spirit of rebellion (Num 16:1-14, 30-31)
8. The spirit of the world (2 Tim 4:14)
9. The spirit of idolatry (Exo 32:31)
• Money can be a powerful god.
• Nowadays, smartphones have become gods.
• You can be an idol to yourself by worshipping yourself.

10. Lust of the eyes (Job 31:1, 1 John 2:15-16)
11. Lust of the flesh (Judg 16:1-5)
12. Seducing spirits (1 Tim 4:1-4)

MAJOR INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS
1. Right time (Gal 6:8-10)
2. Right opportunity(Eccl 9:11, Deut 28:1, Mat 26:15-16, Isa 6:8, Acts 8:35-36, Gal 6:8-10, 1 Sam 1:11, Est 4:16, John 2:5)
• What is an opportunity? An opportunity is a possibility due to a favourable combination of circumstances.
• An opportunity in the house of God can come disguised as a challenge.
• Don’t take too long to decide.
3. Right actions (1 Chron 12:32, Gal 6:8-10, Gen 26:2-3, 12-14)
• Right actions are actions that are taken at the right time, when the opportunity avails itself.

James 5:13, Col 3:16, Ps 23, 91, Prov 15:15, Is 30:29
• Your merriness of heart will facilitate feasts from above at all times.

ENEMIES OF PRAISE
1. MURMURING AND COMPLAINING (1 Cor 10:10, Gen 1:2-3, Num 11:1)
• Discipline yourself to speak what you want to see and not the negative you are seeing.
• Faith has a language.
• It is easy to complain.
• Every complaint you’re making is part of the life you’re carving for yourself.
• Throughout creation, God never spoke about the darkness but spoke what He wanted to see.
• Don’t say what you don’t want.
• You’re actually recreating the negative things you’re complaining about.
• It is natural to complain.

2. SORROW (Prov 17:22)
• Sorrow that is in the heart will eventually reflect itself in the flesh as sicknesses.

3. HOPELESSNESS (Eccl 9:4, Jer 29:11, Isa 51:11)
• As long as you’re alive, there is hope.

4. FOLLOWING OTHER gods (1 Tim 6:10-11)
5. OFFENCE (Luke 8:15, Mat 11:3-6)
• People get into offence because they lack patience and they think the things God promised are not happening.
• Such people compare what is happening in other people’s lives to what is not happening in their own lives.
• Life is an individual race.

6. PRIDE AND REPUTATION

Deut 10:12
• When you arrive at a restaurant, the waiters don’t bring you something that you have not asked for, they ask you what you want and bring it to you.
• Don’t do things in the name of doing things for God when you have not found out what He requires.
• God requires you to love Him.
• Loving God will help you to fear Him and serve Him.
• Love for God will drive you to hate evil.
Exo 20:5-6
• Those who hate God are those who prioritise other things other than Him.
• Mercy is on the premise of love – when people love God, He is able to show them mercy.
• It is impossible to keep God’s word without love driving you towards that.
• Love for God is the master key to life in the kingdom.
Mat 6:33, Exo 21:4-5, Deut 5:10, 6:5, 7:8-9, 13, 11:1, 13, 22
• You can’t deceive God, He knows when you love Him.
• When God finds a man who truly loves Him, He will share His burden with Him.
• Every time you don’t care about others, it is because the love for God is not there.
• When your love has not grown cold, God will use you to share His burden.
• When you have love for God, you will be concerned about your brethren that have been absent from church.
• If love for God dies, you will easily backslide.
• The staying power is love for God.
• When your heart is yearning for God, it drives you to pray.
Job 14:14
• What are you serving God for?
• Do you know what God wants?
• You need to check your love for God everyday.
• There will be a battle between doing what God wants and doing what you like.
• You can’t do what God wants without a baptism.
• You can have the best paying job in the world and yet you’re out of the will of God.
• Don’t mistake breakthrough for being in the will of God.
• satan can give people breakthroughs to take them out of their place of assignment.
• Love causes us to obey God even when it is not convenient.

What is in the Bright and Shining Light Agenda?
3. It signifies that we are in the era of wisdom
(Eccl 7:11-13, 10:10 Luke 16:9-10, Ezek 28:7, 17, Gen 41:31-28, Prov 4:7, Dan 12:3, Ps 72:8-11)
• Wisdom provides solutions to problems people are facing.
• Where there are solutions, there is money and promotions.
• If you have money but lack wisdom, there are certain realms you can’t enter.
• Wisdom will bring beauty and color to your life.
• Wisdom will bring sharpness to the things you do.
• Wisdom makes you shine.
• Growing in age does not mean growing in wisdom.

4. Dominion (Dan 2:31, 44-46, Exo 34:30, Luke 24:4-5, Acts 10:30, 22:6-7)
• Bright and Shining Light speaks of dominion at higher levels.
• When your afraid of you, certain battles come to an end.
• Light is a weapon that ensures you remain in dominion.

5. Superior weapons over stubborn enemies (Jer 51:11, Ezek 21:15, 21, Nah 3:3, 2 Thes 2:8, Hab 3:11, Acts 12:7)

6. Visibility and spread (increase) (Deut 33:2, 1 Sam 16:15-21)
• Visibility is important because it amplifies value.
• You can have value but when people can’t see that value, it doesn’t help.
• You need light for people to see, cooperate with and enjoy what God has endowed you with.
• It is not about how good you are but who sees or knows your good.
• Recognition leads to opportunities.
• Trust and influence grow with exposure.
• When you are exposed, people can trust you.
• People trust what they see more.

How to increase your visibility
1. Know who you are and occupy your place
• Jesus was not afraid to say who He was.

2. Make use of all available platforms to make yourself known for what you carry

3. Be consistent
4. Show up where it matters
5. Deliver the value you carry (represent) publicly
• Let people see what you can do.
• Don’t perform secret miracles, perform them publicly.
• Joseph wasn’t interpreting dreams secretly.

• When your love for God begins to wax cold, the things you used to be zealous about God for you won’t be zealous anymore.
• When your love for God begins to grow cold, the things of God won’t move you anymore and that will be the beginning of your downfall.
• Those churches that are called traditional churches today weren’t always like that, they were once as hot as those who think they are hot today.
• As an individual, you can examine your walk with God (2 Cor 13:5).
• In the same way a student can know when his grades are going down, you too as a believer can examine your walk with God.
• Today there are pastors who are not saved.
• Today there are pastors who hire gunmen to kill other pastors they’re jealous of.
• Today, there are pastors who go to witchdoctors to get charms in order to have power.
• We are in the last days.
• One of the signs of the last days is the love for God dying in the hearts of people.
• When the love for God dies, the negative things that were difficult for you to do will become easy to do.
• The love for God we receive in our hearts is what makes us to desire God.
• There is nobody that is strong in their christian walk outside God, don’t deceive yourself.
• We are strong in God and through the fellowship we have with Him.
• It doesn’t take much for a believer to backslide.
• Prayerlessness for one week is enough to make a believer backslide.
• A good man can become a bad man without God.
• A good husband can become a bad husband without God.
• A good wife can become a bad wife without God.
• The good things we are and are enjoying are because of God.
• Our strength, our beauty is in our relationship with God.
• Keep checking your love for God because once it leaves your heart, something else will enter.
• When people backslide, they lose affection for God and the things around God.
John 14:30, 1 Cor 13:13
• The love for God that is in our hearts help us love God and gravitate towards the things of God.
• If you are having difficulties gravitating towards the things of God, check your love for God.
• If you no longer want to serve God with zeal and passion, check your love.
• Every time love for God seems to be going down, it is an indication that the relationship with the Holy Spirit is dying.
• Every time you have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, your love for God is refreshed and gets stronger.
• When the devil has access to your life, the first thing he will do is kill the love for God and replace it with his own.
• The Spirit of God uses love as a tool to draw you closer to Him.
Zec 12:10, Psa 65:4
• We must worship God in spirit (John 4:23-24) .
• We must serve God with our spirit (Rom 1:9)
• Whatever helps us to be in spirit is helping us to serve God.
• The word of God helps us to be in the spirit.
• The word of God is spirit and those who consume it are consuming what spirits feed on and their spirits will be strong.
• Don’t neglect the duty of building your spirit, life is spiritual.
• It will be difficult to go to the end without the help of the Spirit.
• Where is your love for God?
• Are you on your way up or down?
• What is a believer doing with a non-believer for 3 hours? What are they talking about?
• How come you fall asleep when studying the word of God but come alive when you are doing other things?
• You can tell whether you’re making progress in your walk with God, are stagnant or are going backwards.
• You’re never late for work because you’re afraid of your boss but you’re not afraid to come late to church.
• There is a lot of backsliding going around.
• The devil is fighting hard and wants maximum casualties among christians.
• Children of God need to be alert and use the word of God against the enemy .
Psa 35:4
• You need an avenue with God to reply your enemies.
• People are killed first through the lips of men before they die physically.
• Some people have made the children of other people to become as useless as their children.
