-The problem with going into what The Holy Spirit does without knowing His personality is that we will not be able to relate with Him.

-You can’t relate with someone that you don’t know.

-The Holy Spirit is a person.

-The name of a thing can indicate to you either its nature or what it’s come to do.

-If we do not understand the titles that the Holy Spirit has, we may be limited in understanding what He came to do.

Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8

-To demonstrate the kingdom of God requires power.

-Until the Holy Spirit has been allowed to work through believers and the church, you can’t see power.

-Without power you can’t see changes.

-Some traditional churches have become better than churches that call themselves Pentecostal churches because of the absence of the Holy Spirit.

-If His (Holy Spirit) power is not present, you can’t fulfill destiny.

-The Holy Spirit is in charge of God’s affairs on the earth – without Him you can’t go in the direction of God.

-The primary mission of the Holy Spirit was to make man comfortable.

FOUR MAJOR CHARACTERISTICS BY WHICH WE CAN KNOW THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD

1.HE IS OMNIPRESENT (Psalm 139:7)

3.HE IS OMNIPOTENT (all-powerful) (Psalm 62:11, Acts 1:8)

WHAT MAKES THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BE A PERSON?

1.HE HAS A MIND (Romans 8:27)

2.HE HAS A WILL. (1 Corinthians 12:11, Acts 16:6-7, 10)

3.HE HAS EMOTIONS. (Isaiah 63:10)

4.THE HOLY SPIRIT ALSO CONVINCES AND CONVICTS.

5.HE SPEAKS. (Acts 8:29, 10:19, Acts 13:2)

-Don’t call the Holy Spirit “it.” Use the proper pronoun HE.

-Before you can get to hear the Spirit, believe the word of God.

-If you can’t’ believe what is written, how will you believe what is spoken?

-The Spirit speaks and He does not speak to pastors only, He wants to communicate information to all children of God.

-Hearing the voice of God is for all Christians.

-As a pastor, if you heard God telling you to enter ministry, why you stop hearing God now that you’re in ministry?

-Usually, instructions that are going to change your life don’t come to a group, they come to an individual.

-When you are stranded and don’t know what to do, you need to hear a word concerning what to do.

-To intercede is to plead on behalf another person.

-The Holy Spirit prays on our behalf.
