QUICK UNDERSTANDING IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD

Isaiah 11:1-5, 8-9

The knowledge of the Lord is the answer to the challenges you and I could be facing.

When what God knows becomes so common on the earth, the end result is that all those troubles which were there will no longer be there.

WHAT IS QUICK UNDERSTANDING? Ability to respond without delay or hesitation.

Intelligence is associated with speed.

When people are described as intelligent or dull, it has to do with speed.

Quick understanding means faster than a calculator or anything else.

WHAT IS THE FEAR OF GOD?  Overwhelming feeling of wonder or admiration, sense of awe, deep reverence and submission to God.

Jesus Christ had a sense of awe, deep reverence & submission to God

WHAT IS AWE?

An overwhelming feeling of wonder or admiration.

Jesus Christ had an overwhelming feeling of wonder & admiration to God.

WHAT IS SUBMISSION?

The act of surrendering power to another.

To avoid evil is not the fear of God, it is a result of your fear for God.

The fear of God is an inside thing.

Jesus Christ was reasoning & functioning at the rate of a spirit being.

The dirty you see outside, is inside first.

Our responses come from what is in our inside.

It is not those who have big muscles that have money, it is those who think from their inside.

Skill is not in the physical stature; it is in your mind.

WHY DID GOD MAKE JESUS OF QUICK UNDERSTANDING?

To have the ability to respond faster without delay or hesitation in as far as God is concerned.

Psalm 111:10

Jesus Christ accomplished His assignment in three & half years what He could not do in 30 years because of quick understanding.

If you are fully submissive to God, He too will be submissive to you

Men sin and continue to sin because of the deception of the devil.

Moses had a little bit of quick understanding no wonder he wrote about what happened in the beginning.

Jesus Christ is the wisdom & power of God.

Your full submission to God gives you full access to His secrets.

Wisdom is cheap when the fear of God is in place.

Butter and Honey Shall He eat so that He can have the ability to discern between good & evil.

It is not the gun that is killing, it is not the hand that is stealing, it is not the mouth that is insulting, it is what is inside you.

If your brain is not functioning well, it is reflected in the slowness of doing things.

1 Chronicles 12:32

A fallen man does not respond quickly to divine promptings.

You need the help of the Holy Spirit in as far as quick response to divine promptings is concerned.

Getting a degree is not a function of age, it is a function of quick understanding.

The Spirit of Quick understanding has an element of fastness.

One of the benefits of Technology that it has brought to human beings is speed and fastness in doing things.

Romans 1:4

Jesus did not avoid sin because He was the son of God in the flesh.

There was something in Jesus that made the outside not to have an effect on Him.

Man’s problem is the devil and his cohorts who are operating in wisdom level number 3.

Jesus surrendered the power to live as a normal human being, which allowed the fullness of God to find expression through Him.

The fear of the Lord gives you an ability to discern/detect.

If you can’t see it God’s way, you are not in faith.

If you are not seeing it God’s way, you are seeing it man’s way.

Discernment of spirits is a realm of knowledge.

Prophecy is a realm of knowledge.

When you look at it critically, all the gifts of the Spirit are knowledge-based.

Matthew 11:28-29, John 5:30, Luke 2:42-47

The fear of the Lord is the foundation of God.

You do not yet have a beginning of God until you have the fear of God.

To avoid evil is not the fear of God; it is as a result of the fear of God.

You will never come to a point where you can ever please God without God helping you.

When the fear of God is in place in a person, it means God has started in that person.

2 Timothy 2:19

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD?

1)DIVINE PRESENCE

2) DEEP SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE [Isaiah 11:9, Proverbs 1:7, Ecclesiastes 12:13, Psalm 25:14]

Deep spiritual knowledge helps you to manhandle unclean spirits who want to cut short your journey of life.

Spiritual knowledge is superior to any other kind of knowledge.

You know nothing yet about how to live until the fear of the Lord has set in.

When you fear the Lord, you will live the life that God has ordained for you.

The knowledge of God is superior to all other kinds of knowledge.

If you do not have the fear of God, you cannot keep the commandments.

It is important not to assume we know the fear of the Lord, but to dig deeper into it.

It is impossible to love God without the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord is almost equal to the love for God.

In fearing God, there is absolute surrendering to the purposes of God.

3)DIVINE WISDOM [Psalm 111:10, Job 28:28, Isaiah 33:6]

When there is no direction, people live a frustrated life.

When you have the fear of the Lord, wisdom will follow.

Wisdom makes men to go in the right direction

Wisdom follows those who fear the Lord.

4) THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS A WEAPON AGAINST SIN [Exodus 20:20, Proverbs 3:7, 8:13 (NIV), 16:6, 14:16]

It is the fear of God that makes you not sin.

When you don’t have the fear of God, you’ll be struggling.

Our problems have nothing to do with Satan but that there is something in us that attracts Him.

Because of the fear of the Lord, God had flooded Jesus’ life, so there was nothing that the devil could claim in Him (John 14:30).

Spiritually speaking, a spirit husband or spirit wife has a right to stay in a particular person because there is a marriage that took place.

5)THOSE WHO FEAR GOD ENJOY GOD’S MERCY [Luke 1:50, Psalm 103:13 (MSG)]

God’s mercy is an antidote for judgement.

When God’s mercies show up, favour shows up.

6) LONG LIFE [Deuteronomy 6:24, Proverbs 10:27, 14:27]

The fear of the Lord will help us to be on the pathway for good always.

God uses the instrumentality of the fear of the Lord to preserve us.

In this part of the world, we have a tendency to tell lies during funerals than to tell the truth.

The fear of the Lord causes us to depart from the traps of death.

There is a way evil and its visitations can miss your address because of the fear of the Lord.

PROPHETIC DECREES:

️WITH QUICK UNDERSTANDING IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD, YOU SHALL NOT REMAIN BEHIND.

JESUS CHRIST BEAT SATAN BY QUICK UNDERSTANDING, YOU TOO MUST BEAT SATAN BY QUICK UNDERSTANDING.

YOU WILL ENJOY LONG LIFE AS A HUSBAND & WIFE.

YOU SHALL NOT LOSE YOUR SPOUSE.

I DECLARE LONG LIFE FOR BOTH HUSBAND AND WIFE X5

OH LORD, LET OUR MEN LIVE LONG.

YOU SHALL LIVE LONG TO ENJOY THE GOOD OF THE LAND.

YOU SHALL LIVE LONG TO SEE YOUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN.

I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT EVERY WICKED MANEUVER OF THE DEVIL AGAINST YOUR LIFE SHALL BE OVERTURNED BY YOUR QUICK UNDERSTANDING IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD.

THE GRACE TO GET SPEEDY EMPOWERMENT IS RELEASED UPON YOU.

THOSE THAT USED TO VICTIMIZE YOU, ARE NOW YOUR VICTIMS.

YOU WILL ENJOY THE MERCIES GOD.

YOU WILL ENJOY DIVINE PRESERVATION.

SOMEBODY’S STORY IS CHANGING.

I CAN SEE THAT EVERY FORM OF FOOLISHNESS IS LEAVING US IN JESUS’ NAME.

I CAN SEE GOD HELPING EVERY ONE OF US IN JESUS’ NAME.
