THE NEED FOR TRAVAILING IN PRAYER [Part 3]

Luke 22:41-44

WHAT IS THE UPPER ROOM (POWER ROOM, PRAYER ROOM, TRAVAILING ROOM, ETC.)?

a) It is the spiritual control room of all the happenings in our lives as believers.

b) It is not a room that can only be found in a church set up but it can also be found anywhere where people are.

c) It is a room that you consciously decide that God will meet you from.

d) It is a room where output is determined.

️The prayer room puts you in charge of your life and affairs because God empowers you through the altar of prayer.

️Always remember that prayer is not a gift; but it is a choice.

️You can choose to pray.

️Prayer is hardware; and not software.

Luke 18:1, Matthew 7:7-8

️Prayer is a spiritual weapon in the hands of a believer.

Ephesians 6:12

️There is a lot of wickedness in this world and if you’re not empowered from your prayer altar, you cannot challenge these evil forces.

️You need to get empowered every day.

️When you ascend on your prayer altar, God lifts you high.

️When a call for prayer is made, willingly get involved.

️Prayer does not change God; it changes the person who is praying.

️When you’re praying, it looks as though nothing is happening but never give up, just keep pushing.

️You must never doubt God.

️TO DOUBT GOD IS A CAPITAL SIN AGAINST YOUR LIFE AND DESTINY.

️Believers who travail in prayer triumph in life and destiny.

️There is no glorious life and destiny without travailing on the altar of prayer.

️Destiny is God’s original plan for your future.

️There are contending forces that do not want believers to enjoy life.

WHAT IS TRAVAILING PRAYER?

️A spiritual weapon by which believers invoke divine intervention on a situation.

️Whenever you pray, engage the help of the Holy Spirit.

️Pray more in the language of the Spirit and less in the language of your understanding.

️The Holy Spirit is the best helper we can ever have.

Romans 8:26

️Always pray in faith, never doubting (Mark 11:22-24).

️A prayer of faith is what guarantees answers from the Lord.

️We must never pray from our heads but from our hearts.

️Faith is rooted in your heart.

️A prayer from the heart is a prayer that changes things on the earth.

Jeremiah 17:10, James 5:17-18

️You must be specific every time you pray.
