Psalm 109:24

Sacrifice is the capital price that you have to pay for stardom.

According to God, sacrifice is death. Every time He sees sacrifice He sees the blood of the person that has sacrificed.

Fasting is a sacrifice, you give up food and many other things in order to meet God.

Fasting is costly, that is why many christians avoid it.

John 10:17-18

What does sacrifice do?

1.It releases power (1 Corinthians 1:18, 2 Kings 3:27, Romans 12:1)

   Every sacrifice offered releases power (whether diabolical or godly).

   Many christians wrongly believe that simply being a christian is all the insurance they need against the onslaught of the devil.

   If a diabolical person is offering sacrifice against you, the only way you will escape that onslaught is if you are offering your own sacrifices in accordance with scripture. Otherwise the power generated by those evil sacrifices will overrun your life.

What sort of power is contained in sacrifice?

    a. Sacrifice creates an attraction, it releases power which makes people to follow you.

    b. Power to convince people

      Certain things might not come our way because people are not persuaded or convinced concerning us.

    c. It makes people to be committed (Philippians 3:7-8)

2. It is the key to fruitfulness (John 12:23-24, Luke 1:80, Mark 1:28, Luke 4:21)

   A readiness to die will lead to abundance (John 12:24).

3.It brings you to the anointing (Ephesians 2:13, Psalm 91:1, Exodus 29:11)

   Without the anointing your life will be an annoyance.

   The more sacrifice you pay, the closer you get to the anointing.

4. It gets rid of pharaoh (the stubborn pursuer)  (Exodus 14:2-4, 1 Corinthians 10:1-2, Romans 6:3-4)

5. It gives you a  place in destiny (1 Kings 19:16, 2 Kings 3:11, Matthew 20:21-22, Proverbs 18:16, Revelation 5:4,9)

   A place among the great awaits the sacrificial.

6. It brings the glory in your purpose or assignment (Leviticus 9:21-23, 2 Chronicles 5:13-14, Isaiah 60:3, Matthew 20:20, Philippians 2:5-9)

   Before glorification there is sacrifice.
