THE POWER OF GOD'S WORD [Part 2]

• God may tell you to do something today but it will preserve you for 50 years into the future.
• God’s word carries power but the power in the word will only work with obedience.
• Just like a fisherman pays less attention to the fish he’s already caught and put in his bucket, when you step out of the will of God, you will face less attacks by the devil. Some opportunities will even start to come your way to deceive you.
• It is your duty to safeguard your christian life, walk in obedience.
• Whatever God tells you to do , do it (Jn 2:1-5).
• Your miracle / breakthrough is at the end of you doing the word of God.
• Power works on the platform of obedience.
• God’s word has two sides , a judgment side and a blessing side.
• When you don’t do the word, you’ve chosen to be judged by the word.
2 Kgs 7:1-2
• God wants to raise you to a level where you can hear His voice.
• Hearing God’s voice is the inheritance of every child of God.
Jn 6:63, 4:22-24
• You need to be spiritual for you to learn how to hear the voice of God.
• It is only when you teach your spirit to submit to the will of God that the word of God will renew your mind.
• You cannot relate to God with an intellectual mind.
• What we need from God is at the point of our obedience.
• Revelation of God’s word is fundamental to our manifestation.
• The revealed word of God is our covenant platform for dominion.
• Revelation is the bedrock of our manifestation.
• Your manifestation in life and destiny is not secured without appropriate value for revelation and commitment to the word of God.
HOW DO WE ACCESS REVELATION?
1. Be spiritual (Lk 15:8, Pr 20:27, 1 Cor 2:13-14
2. Be committed to a life of prayer and fasting (Mat 17:15-19)
3. a)By locating and subscribing to the priesthood ministry of God
b) Have honour and submit to the priest God has ordained for you
4. Be a student of the word of God (Ps 119:114, 2 Tim 3:16-17, Col 1:9-10, 2 Pet 3:17, 1:1-9)
• Digest the word of God for
1. Knowledge
2. Growth
3. Transformation
• Allow the word of God to program your mind and life first
