• Fasting is when we stay away from our desires for a period of time in order to seek God.

• Proper fasting must include humility, turning to the Lord and turning away from those things which offend God.
• In times of prayer and fasting, it is important for people to spend time in the presence of God to pray and search scriptures to seek out God’s opinion concerning any matter.
• It is called prayer with fasting because what should be more is prayer.
• Spend 5/8 of your time praying and 3/8 studying the word.

• Certain things will never be removed from our path of destiny until we engage in prayers coupled with fasting.
• Any kind of fasting , whether in God’s kingdom or the kingdom of darkness opens up a person to higher spiritual possibilities.
• A lifestyle of prayer with fasting leads to a change of mentality due to the breaking forth of light. The mind of Christ becomes the natural way of thinking for people who regularly engage in this.
• Music is a transportation medium for spirits.
• To walk by faith is hard work: there is what you must walk away from and what you must walk towards.
• You have the right to tell the taxi driver who has picked you to change the music playing in the car.
• Only very few people will be offended by gospel music.
• Let’s not sanctify ourselves only, we must sanctify our dwelling places.

• There will be peace in your home when you invite God to dwell there.
• You are the one who pays bills , don’t allow your children to control you.
• Atmosphere matters a lot. What atmosphere are you creating?
• One of the things prayer with fasting does is that it creates an atmosphere for God?
• We use music to invite spirits. Which spirits are you inviting?
• The biggest thing that happens in a fast is that heavens open, you get God’s attention (1 Kings 21:29, Acts 10:4, Is 58:4, Mat 6:18)
• If God is not your priority, you are not His priority.
