• When your love for God begins to wax cold, the things you used to be zealous about God for you won’t be zealous anymore.
• When your love for God begins to grow cold, the things of God won’t move you anymore and that will be the beginning of your downfall.
• Those churches that are called traditional churches today weren’t always like that, they were once as hot as those who think they are hot today.
• As an individual, you can examine your walk with God (2 Cor 13:5).
• In the same way a student can know when his grades are going down, you too as a believer can examine your walk with God.
• Today there are pastors who are not saved.
• Today there are pastors who hire gunmen to kill other pastors they’re jealous of.
• Today, there are pastors who go to witchdoctors to get charms in order to have power.
• We are in the last days.
• One of the signs of the last days is the love for God dying in the hearts of people.
• When the love for God dies, the negative things that were difficult for you to do will become easy to do.
• The love for God we receive in our hearts is what makes us to desire God.
• There is nobody that is strong in their christian walk outside God, don’t deceive yourself.
• We are strong in God and through the fellowship we have with Him.
• It doesn’t take much for a believer to backslide.
• Prayerlessness for one week is enough to make a believer backslide.
• A good man can become a bad man without God.
• A good husband can become a bad husband without God.
• A good wife can become a bad wife without God.
• The good things we are and are enjoying are because of God.
• Our strength, our beauty is in our relationship with God.
• Keep checking your love for God because once it leaves your heart, something else will enter.
• When people backslide, they lose affection for God and the things around God.

• The love for God that is in our hearts help us love God and gravitate towards the things of God.
• If you are having difficulties gravitating towards the things of God, check your love for God.
• If you no longer want to serve God with zeal and passion, check your love.
• Every time love for God seems to be going down, it is an indication that the relationship with the Holy Spirit is dying.
• Every time you have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, your love for God is refreshed and gets stronger.
• When the devil has access to your life, the first thing he will do is kill the love for God and replace it with his own.
• The Spirit of God uses love as a tool to draw you closer to Him.

• We must worship God in spirit (John 4:23-24) .
• We must serve God with our spirit (Rom 1:9)
• Whatever helps us to be in spirit is helping us to serve God.
• The word of God helps us to be in the spirit.
• The word of God is spirit and those who consume it are consuming what spirits feed on and their spirits will be strong.
• Don’t neglect the duty of building your spirit, life is spiritual.
• It will be difficult to go to the end without the help of the Spirit.
• Where is your love for God?
• Are you on your way up or down?
• What is a believer doing with a non-believer for 3 hours? What are they talking about?
• How come you fall asleep when studying the word of God but come alive when you are doing other things?
• You can tell whether you’re making progress in your walk with God, are stagnant or are going backwards.
• You’re never late for work because you’re afraid of your boss but you’re not afraid to come late to church.
• There is a lot of backsliding going around.
• The devil is fighting hard and wants maximum casualties among christians.
• Children of God need to be alert and use the word of God against the enemy .
Psa 35:4
• You need an avenue with God to reply your enemies.
• People are killed first through the lips of men before they die physically.
• Some people have made the children of other people to become as useless as their children.
