Steps to take if you want your life to shine:
1. Salvation (Luke 10:27, John 3:1-3)
• Salvation is the first and primary step to take if you want to shine in this life.
• Jesus is light.
• You cannot shine while you are in the dark.
• Inviting Jesus into your life is inviting light into your life.

2. Being dedicated to kingdom principles (Psa 132:3-5)
What should I committed to?
a. Prayer (1 Thes 5:17, Luke 18:1)
• Don’t stop praying.
• We avoid temptation by praying (Luke 22:40).
• Prayer fuels visions and revelations (Dan 2:17-19).

b. Fasting (Isa 58:6, 8)
c. Kingdom service
d. Giving (Acts 10:1-5)
e. Speaking right (Isa 43:26, Mat 12:37-38)
• Language matters a lot in the kingdom of God.
• Our mouths weren’t meant for eating alone, but for speaking positively.

3. Be studious (2 Tim 2:15, Dan 9:1-2)
• The answer to some of the challenges we’re facing are hidden in the word of God.
