Eccl 3:1-2, Luke 8:5-11
• The whole earth runs on the seed principle.
• The main seed that produces different kinds of harvests is the word of God.
• If the seed is the word of God, it important for you as a Christian to understand some things about a seed if you are going to succeed in your walk with God.
• Luke 8:5-11 describes different attitudes and value systems people have towards God and His word.
• Many Christians will not survive the next pandemic because of their attitude.
• If there was no social media, many people that died during the last pandemic would not have died.
• Fear should be a revelation – showing you what you are lacking.
• When you are so afraid, it should be a clear sign to you that you do not have faith in that area.
• The four different kinds of hearts are found in church and regularly attend church.
• You must be careful with your words and actions because they are seeds and will give you a harvest one day.
• If you begin to ask yourself what to do in order to turn a seed into a harvest, you will begin to seek profit from the word of God.
• You cannot harvest if you do not do what is required in order to have a harvest.
• It doesn’t end with planting.
• Planting is just a first step.
• Every good farmer knows that he shouldn’t just rush to plant because it is raining, but must be prepared for every stage the crop must go through in order to produce a bumper harvest
• Planting a seed without being ready to go through all the stages the seed must go through is labouring is in vain
• Satan doesn’t trouble Christians at the same level.
• For some, he can even let them pray and fast but has taken advantage of the fact that there are certain things that are required for them to see a harvest that they will not do.
• You fight better when you have intelligence, sometimes generalised prayers are not helpful.
• Before you wage a spiritual war, get information about what you need to deal with.
Heb 10:36, Psa 84:7
• We inherit the promises after we have done the will of God, not after we have started doing the will of God.
• Assembling ourselves together is part of the will of God.
• Assembling together will help you to avoid the traps of the devil.
• Assembling together will help you to avoid backsliding and falling into temptation because we encourage each other.
• There is strength in appearing where God is.
Jam 5:6, Heb 11:6
• Steadfastness helps you to stay on track with God.
• We need the spirit of steadfastness to stay with God.
• To be steadfast is to be consistent.
• It is steadfastness that leads to resilience – you stand until the end.
• Any Christian who truly knows God will never boycott God, God will never be a problem and His house will never be a problem.
• If you faint, you have lost your harvest (Gal 6:9).
Gen 32:26, Job 14:14
• If you are not committed today, your commitment of yesterday is forgotten.
• If you are in it, be in it for the long haul.
