2 Chron 14:11-12
• There is help from God for anyone and everyone who can access it.
• The help of God is the help indeed that man needs.
• Why does man need help? We are not sufficient of ourselves, we need help.
• Once the help of God is sought, it mainly comes through 3 avenues:
1. He may send us help through men
2. He may send us help through His mercy
3. He may send us help through the help of the Spirit of God
• When we are born-again, we need the chief-helper who is the Holy Spirit.
• We cannot do life by ourselves, we need the help of God.
• God’s help is not automatic, He doesn’t just help us because we need help, we must access it.
2 Cor 3:4-8
• How can you lack angelic ministration when you have the Holy Spirit who is the boss of the angels?
• We lack angelic help because we are not aware of them and we don’t know how to activate them.
• Our generation has not engaged God as much as those in old days because we have many distraction.
Rom 12:1-2
• Very few people have time for God.
• Very few people define their lives from the information in the word of God.
1 Tim 4:13-15
• A person can’t change his ways because of time.
• It is when a person accepts new information to come into him that his ways can change.
• Poverty is not a lack of money even though it creates lack of money.
• Poverty is a mindset.
• It is possible for us to live healthy , if only we can have the wisdom of God at work in us.
• It is not just praying, we need wisdom in other areas.
• It is the will of God for us to live healthy.
• Eating healthy is the first prevention for sickness.
• You cannot be over 35 years and eating sugar as though you’re a young boy.
• Just because God has blessed you with money doesn’t mean you should now put 10 table spoons of sugar in your cup of tea.
• Have the wisdom to eat healthy and ensure you are resting.
• Anxiety is deadly.
• You can spend 10 hours at work and yet you are not resting.
• Whatever God tells you not to do, He knows something about it.
• Borrowing will bring you anxiety.
Deut 15:6
• You shouldn’t wait until you become diabetic to cut certain foods out of your diet.
• The best is to live under (lower) your means.
• We must always desire the best for our children but it should be below our means.
• This is the time for us to get hooked to God’s system.
• We need to have our minds renewed.
• Because many are conformed to the world’s system, many of the things that affect the world are also affecting them.
Heb 4:16, Ps 46:1
• The Bible doesn’t tell us that we should only be accessing help when we are in need.
• Many christians only seek help from God when they are in need.
• Most christians are “firefighters”, waiting for things to go wrong then they rush to try to put out the fires.
Prov 28:1
• People are bold when they know.
• You don’t know on the day of trouble, you should know it before.
• Those who know don’t approach the throne of God in a beggarly manner.
• Those who know, know that they have the right to access God’s help.
• When you know, you will treat everything that comes to you that is not of God as an enemy.
• God is your father and you can approach Him (Luke 15:12, 31).
• It is important that your accessing help from God is based on knowledge.
• Change the way you approach God.
• Know that God is your father.
• Approach God boldly as a son and not as a servant, having full confidence that He has what you are looking for.
• The consciousness of the knowledge that God is with you does a lot of damage to doubt (Rom 8:31-37).
PRAYER POINT:
GOD, GRANT ME GRACE TO BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR HELP SO THAT I MAY ACCESS IT ALL THE TIME AND STAND THE TEST OF THE TIMES THAT ARE COMING.
[ACTS 26:22]
