• One of the major things the Holy Spirit does is to fill a believer with the love for God.
• When you are filled with the love for God, He shows you the will of God.
• When what you do everyday is governed by the will of God, you can say you have a relationship with God.
• Waking up everyday and doing whatever you like is not Christianity.
• Christianity is not belonging to a church.
• The church is like a service station where we are fuelled to go and live for Him.
Rev 1:6
• In the Old Testament, every time there was a strong priesthood, kings ruled well for God and they were in alignment with His will.
Num 16:9
• In the Old Testament, priests had to offer sacrifices daily.
• Priesthood makes a live connection between a community and a deity.
• When the priesthood is active, it means God is among the people.
• The fire on the altar represented the active involvement of God amongst His people.
Mat 3:11
• In the modern-day priesthood, we don’t have to physically put wood and light up a fire and make burnt sacrifices because we have become the tabernacles of God (God dwells inside us).
• The place where the fire of the altar should be burning is your heart.
• If your heart is burning for God, you will be surrounded by His manifest presence.
• When the fire of your heart stops burning, God has gone out of your life.
• If you are on fire for God, you are passionate about the things of God.
• The fire in your heart is the love of God actively at work in a human vessel.
Acts 2:1-3, 1 Thess 5:19, Ezek 36:26-27
• It takes zeal in order to make it to the end.
• Whatever you do for God without love for Him will not profit you.
• When you lose the love for God, you have lost your connection to God and you will be a stranger to everything that concerns God.
• Use love to examine whether you are still in the faith.
• Everything in God’s kingdom is powered by love.
• 1 Cor 13:3, Rom 13:10
• Profitable kingdom service is powered by love for God.
• When you have the love of God in your heart, you have fulfilled the law.

SIGNS THAT YOU HAVE LOVE FOR GOD
1. YOU WILL LOVE HIS WORD (Psa 119:97, Job 23:10-12, Jer 15:16)

2. YOU WILL SERVE HIM (Mat 8:5-8, Exo 23:25, Dan 6:21-22, 3:16-26, John 21:15-16, Phili 1:21, 1 Cor 9:16)

• If you serve God, God will do all He can to defend you.
3. YOU WILL LOVE HIS HOUSE & HIS KINGDOM (Psa 122:1-2, 84:1, 10, 132:1-5)
4. YOU WILL OBEY HIM (1 John 5:3, Eze 36:27, Gen 12:1-4, 17:10, 23, 22:1-3, John 14:21)
5. YOU WILL LOVE HIS PEOPLE (1 John 4:20-21, 3:17-18)
6. YOU WILL GIVE WITH EXCITEMENT (1 Chr 29:3, John 3:16, 2 Cor 8:8)
