What does wind represent?

POWER AND LIFE

What we call wind is air in motion. Air contains the oxygen we need for life.

The coming of the Holy Ghost signalled that life had come.

When you receive Jesus, it is actually the Holy Ghost who comes into you.

Wind is an invisible force that has an effect on what is visible.

Nobody can say they have seen the Holy Spirit but He is effective.

The Holy Spirit as wind is the only one who can help us move from common ground to fly to the place where we are supposed to operate.

FIRE

Fire gives light and heat.

Light is life.

What does fire signify?

1.The presence of God (Exodus 3:2-5, 19:18)

2.Approval of God (Leviticus 9:24, 6:12-13, 1 Kings 18:24, 2 Kings 1:12)

If the Lord approves you by fire, your enemies will be afraid of you.

3.Protection and guidance (Exodus 13:21)

Wherever God is leading, protection is guaranteed.

When you know what to do, you don’t panic in the presence of trouble.

4.Purifying (Isaiah 6:1-7, Malachi 3:2-3, 2 Kings 12:6)

The fire of the Lord will purify us so that our lives are pleasing to God all the time.

It is the fire of the Spirit that kills the desire for sin.

We must do all we can to desire fire.
